Actually that's exactly what you said. "Bill sitting down with the AG is cause for suspicion." Bill has no power in this situation so you're saying it raises suspicions about Loretta Lynch and a possible indictment of Hillary.

So walk me through what your conspiracy is here:
A Republican FBI director, who has broad cross-party support and who every Republican has been raving about through this entire process, conducts a massive investigation over months, involving hundreds of agents and advisors. Throughout the process, he's careful to avoid involving the DOJ. And then, 3 days before he releases his verdict, Bill Clinton meets with Lynch, Lynch meets with Comey, and Lynch somehow convinces Comey, who has full authority to act independently, and has actually opposed a sitting president of his own party affiliation before, to change his recommendation? How exactly did Lynch pull that off? Does the whitehouse have some blackmail material on Comey? Did they bribe Comey with promise of some job more prestigious than director of the FBI? Have politicians on both sides of the aisle been wrong about Comey for the last decade telling us he's a stand-up guy, and he's actually the total opposite?
Is that what you're suggesting?
Here's an alternate theory. Clinton, worrying about the possibility of Comey recommending charges against Clinton, went to speak to Lynch about what their contingency plan could be. Maybe she shut that conversation down, as she should have. But maybe they did actually discuss a contingency plan that would allow Lynch to avoid putting charges against Clinton, against the FBI's recommendation. And then all of that became irrelevant when Comey, working independently of them, decided not to recommend charges.

Anyway, I used the term in jest. Romney is more WASP (Ivy League education). Biden is of that generation though.
But it was a joke, kinda. It is just funny for all this talk of a new politics, the two safe candidates in most people's mind belong to a very traditional type of political class. Probably more responsible though.

Well, that is far more elaborate than anything I alluded to.
For the record, your alternate theory seems to be the most likely.
My only point has been to emphasize how inappropriate and entitled it was of Clinton to even approach Lynch.

An open and active component to the campaign, as well as someone who will have a central role in the administration.
Honestly, people. Honestly. People call Trump supporters stupid...

Jesus Christ it's like talking to partisan children. What power does Bill Clinton have in the context of getting charges brought against Hillary? That is Lynch's purview. To say it raises suspicions regarding no charges is saying it raises suspicions about her.
You can say Slick Willy was trying to pull a fast one and you may be right but he is a private citisen meeting with someone. I'm unaware of him currently holding any office.
I'd you want to argue about backroom dealings and House of Cards style power plays that's fine as well but you're reaching conspiracy theory levels.

I... can't even. You really don't know much about these things, do you?
Have you ever worked in a social environment?

Part of the issue which wasn't really addressed in the FBI news conference is the speculation that the biggest reason this email server was set up, was to avoid FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests. If that was something that could be proven, it would have shown she was guilty of a crime - I think there were 1-2 emails in the dump that alluded to this, but there wasn't anything that said "AVOID FOIA" or anything like that.
|
A big question I have is, who was she emailing? Were they also using private email servers? Because if not, then you can't really avoid FOIA can you?

Negative. It's just me in a basement eating chips and arguing online. The outside world was destroyed by nukes in 73 wasn't it?
For someone who likes to argue semantics nonstop you're sure anxious to go whole hog on this one. You don't even see the line being drawn. Yes he has political clout and power but technically he is just a guy. Also nothing you said addressed him. You clearly were trying to point the finger at Lynch and have now moved on to attacking me instead of admitting you either misspoke or were incorrect.
But this is to be expected, move along.
Never let it be said Canadians can't partisan as well as Americans.

I suppose it is possible that the GOP drops Trump and enlists Johnson as their Presidential nominee and taps Kasich to be the VP nominee.
I'm not sure what the rules are about a candidate being on a ticket for two parties at the same time, but Johnson is, at least, historically a Republican.
Plus, Johnson and Kasich might do well together---a sort of border state/immigration/free trade guy coupled with a rust belt/Midwestern sensibilities guy.

Wrong thread and all but, what? No, not even a little, no chance.
Mormonism was started by a confirmed con artist and believes, among other things, that said confirmed con artist could magically read engravings he found buried in the ground if he held a magic stone, that the Garden of Eden is somewhere in Missouri, that Jesus already came back and spent some time in America talking with the natives, and that if you are especially pious and live by all their wacky rules you can one day rule your own planet like Kolob.
Mormonism has far more in common with Scientology (to wit: they are both scams started by con artists) than it does with any of the fairy tale based religions.

Totally true, but the average person seems to believe it's a little different but mostly the same. Ask random people and you'll see

Oh yeah, that I can totally agree with. I just have read speculation about how the meeting with Lynch influenced Comey's decision, which I assumed is what you were getting at. But yeah, the Lynch meeting itself, totally inappropriate regardless of whatever was discussed.
