Well yes... they still talked to Columbus to trade up to 3 for Puljujarvi.

I think the biggest stumbling block is Columbus was convinced Dubois wouldn't make it past the Canucks.

Man I am stoked! Can't believe anybody is unhappy with this pick at 6! Had we took him at 4 you might be able to make a case but in my mind he was head and shoulders above the next few guys taken.

The more I watch and hear him the more I like him. So well grounded.

I honestly didn't think he'd be available at 6, so absolutely delighted. He is just what we needed.

Gaudreau, Monahan, Bennett, Tkachuk. The future is bright!
