Just chatted with Matt Tkachuk, couple of notes. He felt certain the #Flames wanted him. was in Calgary to meet with team after combine.

Great Pick. He reminds me of a young Iginla.
Strong on the boards and corners, average speed, strong on his skates, great shot, strong playmaker, winner, and great leader.
Iggy was able to improve his speed later in his career.

I am really happy to get him at 6th. He is pretty much exactly what we want. He looked pretty darn happy as well.
