So nothing about either RDR2, an RDR remaster, or anything remotely related to GTA, Bully, etc? So leading into E3, them saying they'd be at E3 in a big way was just a complete fabrication then?
R*, I simultaneously love you and hate you so much..

Actually most people were saying it would be unlikely that Rockstar would announce anything at E3. They haven't been a big part of E3 for the last few years.

Oh I know. It's just that Take Two announced they'd be at E3 this year "in a big way", which was surprising. Most took that as something AAA R* related, so there was a tonne of buzz leading into it.

Weren't they going to reveal some RDR stuff but it was a saloon shootout which was the day after the Pulse shootings so they dumped it?

That was the rumour, but it's been debunked a bit. Many believe it's BS, and point to the fact that many other shooter games were shown. Basically seems like half the internet believes it, the other half doesn't (welcome to the internet).
I personally really WANT to believe it, as I want to live in a world where an RDR2 game has been confirmed (hell even just an RDR remaster). But I'm having trouble fully believing it.

That was denied by Sony.

Anyone know when I'll be able to pre-order BF1 on steam?

I'd get really annoyed playing Jason though. Come on go faster, run, do something
I want a sprint mode with Jason that makes him like Ben Johnson

I'll say it, because it rarely gets said as if we're all afraid Gaben will show up and smite who every puts the thought out there:
Origin is better than Steam now.
Steam has been around for a geological age in gaming terms, was easy to use, had huge sales, a massive library of games and was owned by our lord and savior. Origin came in broken, buggy and owned by EA.
Since that time, Origin has fixed all of its launch problems. They've adopted a lot of what Steam did well and are really on the same level as steam now. The difference comes down to customer service and game selection. Valve has started taking their customers for granted if not outright slapping them in the face. The caching issue and the lack of response. The charging for mods, the class action suit thing hidden in a new TOS (after the caching issue). While the Steam library continues to dwarf Origin (but not GOG), they will never have any of the EA games. So if you want to play BF1 (or BF4 or for some god awful reason Battlefront) play it. Origin is fine.

You're right, Origin is fine. Uplay for the most part is okay as well and GOG is great. I understand why some people want everything on Steam but I am happy that there are other platforms. I think a lot of people forget that Steam was a pile of garbage when it launched too. In fact, Origin was far better when it launched than Steam was when it debuted.

I am sorry but it is. The store isn't great but I've played plenty of games on it without issue.

Only thing I don't like about uplay is when you buy a ubi game on steam and it makes you run both. There's nothing wrong with uplay really, but if it was standalone like origin it'd be better. Don't get why I need to open a game through steam, which just opens uplay as well. It doesn't do anything to performance or anything but just bugs me for some reason
