Well, it's that time of year again. What are you looking forward to seeing? What's on your wish list for new announcements?
I'm hoping for a new Red Dead game and for the rumoured Sucker Punch Spiderman game to be real. And I also want to see a lot from the new Mass Effect.

Going by Bethesda time, I wouldn't expect a new Elder Scrolls til ~2019. Every 4 years.

How could I forget Skate 4.
It's the only game I really want.

Thought i read an article a couple months ago saying Bethesda wants to shorten development time. So we would see an elder scrolls and fallout game every couple years.

Looks like Dead Rising 4 will be shown. Probably a lot of VR news with Sony's unit and Microsoft playing catch up (2 new Xbox models with higher specs)

Ah, as a one-off I don't think it's so bad.
What's the over/under on it actually being a better game than FFXV?

It's not a one-off though. Theatrhythm FF and Bravely Default/Second use it too.

I find it weird that this series keeps getting lumped in with Final Fantasy. Just being a JRPG produced by Square doesn't automatically make something a Final Fantasy game/spin-off.

Except that it is. Bravely Default is FF: The 4 Heroes of Light II.

I want PSVR news for days. That's all I want. Also Red Dead, and perhaps an announcement that Horizon isn't delayed (which it will be).

Pretty interesting they called it Bravely Default and never referred to it as Final Fantasy on any packaging, marketing, or in the game itself then.
Maybe it started out as a sequel to that game but at some point the direction changed to an original IP. Why would you call something 'Bravely Default' instead of tacking on an extremely popular franchise brand, if that's what you intended it to be?
