If Bautista continues to hit 40 HR per season, he'll need to play another 5 1/2 years to hit 500 and that's pretty much the minimum and even then it's doubtful.

Edwin might, but he would have to have the same end of his career that Big Papi did.

actually in a recent article the Jays said they were not using that and were going to just watch Sanchez closely.

Gibby said he will be moved to the pen, and they are using that research

If they can get thru this series with the O's and get out of the Division for a bit, they could make some hay here. The AL East combined is 23 games above 500. The rest of the AL is 17 games under. If they can get 2 of 3 in this series, they'll be in really good shape.

15 day DL for Jose

Arden Zwelling ‏@ArdenZwelling
Blue Jays have yet to announce anything officially but it's a toe injury for Bautista; the big one on his left foot. X-rays were negative.

SportsCentre ‏@SportsCentre
UPDATE: @BlueJays place RF Jose Bautista on 15-day DL, according to multiple reports #MLB

Arden Zwelling ‏@ArdenZwelling
Bautista had an MRI on his left foot today; Blue Jays are sending results to a specialist for further analysis. Bautista's in a walking boot

Never played baseball in my life, but would you say that play by Bautista where he got hurt was bad luck or just a bad play on his part? We all love his bat but he's not the strongest of outfielders. Curious what everyones take is on it. Hope he's not on the DL longer than 15 days.

Jays signed the 21st overall pick in 2016, TJ Zeuch for $2.175

No pitch tracker today. It's funny how much I have become reliant on it. I still haven't made up my mind on the pitch tracker.

Edit: Oops, never mind it's back.

Bad luck for Sanchez during these first couple batters. And now a hit on a ball that's almost in the dirt and it's 3-1.

Got to make those defensive plays against a lineup as good as the Orioles
