What number on the wait list are you?

You said your date was the 30th, which I believe is the final day as I seem to recall someone said Hot House will happen between the 20th and 30th. So it would seem you won't get any seniority there. It kind of makes sense all the same since you weren't on a wait list, rather, were already a ticket holder in a different capacity.

I hope you get in all the same and discover some seats you enjoy.

Talked to my rep and she said that my seniority will carry over to season ticket holder relocation. Need too bite the bullet this season and secure season tickets and then I
should be able to get good seats 2017-2018 based on my 2001 seniority.

Very simple answer. They want to leave some appealing tickets to new ticket holders so they don't pass on them and then leave tickets un-claimed.

As much as loyal customers want to always be put first, it's a pretty common and sensible business practice to at least leave some things available to only new customers. Companies need to ensure they generate new revenue, and often have to resort to some form of preferential treatment for new customers to get it. Very unlikely an existing ticket holder walks away if they don't get what they want at relocation (and if they did, you could likely deal that up on a one off and find them what they need), but much more likely a new customer might not make the plung and spend the money if you don't have what they are looking for.

It's likely the right mathematical formula for the Flames to ensure they get the highest % of the building pre sold to season ticket holders that they can.

You can't do that if your process is otherwise seniority based. It's bull####.

They actually must have a held a ton of seats back or they may have released more season tickets to guarantee sales in a year when the economy is weak. I read that previously they only sold 14000 or so of the 18000+ seats as season tickets.

I counted the number of seats available during relocation a few times on a friends account. Each time the number ranged between 920 and 950. It sounds like there are between 1200-1300 people on the wait list that have confirmed times to buy tickets. That means between 2400 and 2600 tickets are now available. That's on the low end since it doesn't take into account people that are buying 3 or 4 seats. Their renewal rate is either much lower than they reported or they released more season tickets.

Does anybody know if you end up paying more with the payment plan, or would it be the same amount if I paid the entire amount up front

You pay an extra $25 with the payment plan.

I don't believe what was shown online during the STH relocation event truly represented what was actually available. As I mentioned early in this thread, there sure seemed to be a lot more seats available when you 'went down to the dome' during the event versus to what was shown online. Maybe they have fixed this error in time for the HH event.

The renewal rate was apparently in the low 90 percent range, therefore 1400 available seats would make sense.

While I'm not saying you don't have the right to not like it, but why does the fact they've chosen to do the relocation process they do have by seniority make it something they can't do? The tickets they deem available for relocation are put into a seniority basis program.

They aren't required to do relocation for their STH. It be dumb if they didn't IMO, but they don't have to do it.

If anyone is high up on the HH list and has an early choosing date... Take a screenshot for us! I'm curious to see how many are available at the start and where they are.

The following is pure speculation on my part, however, I don't know that they're intentionally withholding select seats in the relocation process to release to Hot House members instead.

I imagine they try and keep the relocation process as simple as they can due to such a large volume that have to run through it, coupled with it having no particular value to the organization. So for example, they would get their renewal commitments from the season ticket holders and then filter through the relocation event within those numbers specific as step 1.

Thereafter, maybe they focus on STH's who did not have accounts in good standing and finalize which direction those in arrears are going (are they keeping their tickets or are they being released). If they can get the account(s) sorted, terrific. If not, those seats are relinquished and therefore available after relocation.

Beyond that, the Flames maybe have their own internal review of how many tickets they own or players/staff own. Colborne for example has his set of tickets for the troops. If he gets traded, those seats get relinquished I imagine. He is just an example I can think of as his seats are just in front of mine, but there are undoubtedly other scenarios like this where tickets within the organization get reviewed, or similarly, larger sponsors/partners that have a more firm relationship with the team that perhaps do not necessarily work within the relocation process. Perhaps they work on a different method and decide at a later time in the summer that rather than an entire 'row' for their organization, they'll elect for 4 seats instead or something to this effect.

Things like the above are how I consider extra seats become available after the relocation event. I don't believe they're taking the time to withhold seats. I could be extremely off base, but this is what came to mind when I read your thoughts on the matter - which could be bang on in reality.

Anyway, thanks for reading.

Hi Guys, first post here. I've been in the Hot House for 6 years and this year received a Lower Bowl Priority number in the single digits, and decided to pull the trigger.

Here is a map of available sections as of about 9:15 today. It's important to note that many of the sought-after Lower Bowl sections (especially 107-112) show as having seats available but these were almost exclusively singles.

I also noticed a lot of the 2nd-level sections (210 to 214, and 224 to 228) had only seats in very high rows or very low rows left, with almost nothing in-between. Best selection was in the upper corners.

Things will change as the days go by, so this map will look different when you pull it up.

Thanks does anyone have the availability for the PL level?
I am just wondering if it is easier to sell green vs PL seats face value if I cannot make it to all the games especially the weekday games?

From that snap shot it looks like there is no PL... Is that possible? Seems odd.
