I'm thinking there is a chance we don't get tickets. From what I could tell by looking at a friends account during relocation, there were about 950 tickets available and I'm in the 900s on the hot house list. To me, it looks like there are enough tickets for around 475 pairs. Plus, some of those were triples and quite a few singles. I think they over book the purchasing program so when people pass on tickets that there are other people already in line to purchase them. All we can do now is sit, wait, and hope!

Do they really send out more invites than there are tickets?

There will definitely be seats available for you, but you may not like them. Let's say you wanted orange seats. They may only have seats in red 2 (much more expensive), or it may be the last row in PL (not as desirable). You are allowed to pass if you don't like them, and you retain your spot in line. Actually you move up the line, as anyone who takes the seats gets taken out of the line. For next year you'd be closer to the front. If you don't like the seats offered, ask if there are different ones available.

That makes sense. I really want tickets this year but I might have to put my emotions aside if theres a chance to get better seats next year... Guess we'll have to see what's up for grabs.

If you are offered seats this year, I'd recommend taking them. That gets you into the relocation event next year - which will provide you better options than the Hot House regardless if you're 1000th on the wait list or 1st.

As long as I can afford them, that's the plan.

I just spoke to customer service and they confirmed that if you have a scheduled time then there will be tickets available. They may only be golds or singles but apparently we all should have an option to purchase. The math doesn't make sense to me but I'm more than happy to be wrong.

Are you all looking at a pair, and go with your wife/gf/friend?
This year I went with a current STH and paying for half the games. So unless there are good seats available I will pass on this offer. And since mine is on the last day I don't expect anything good.

I spoke with customer service to clarify and they said that there are more tickets in their inventory than what was offered to STH during relocation, which explains how there are enough tickets to guarantee everyone will get seats if they received an email offer.

Say what? Why would new ticket holders be offered stock that wasn't made available to existing ticket holders?

It doesn't make sense to me either, but that's what they said. The only thing I can think of is that they decided to increase the total # of season tickets available. i.e. went from 14,000 to 15,000

I'm June 30th at 3pm. Talk about getting the bottom of the barrel as far as selection. Been a game pack holder since 2001. will my seniority as game pack holder carry over to season ticket holder?

It's probably because they know your handle on CP is t-bag22 (lol).
As far as I know they don't give any STH priority for game pack holders.

My account shows I have been STH since the day we got our game packs. However We were only game pack holders for 2 seasons, and then moved to STH for the 2003-04 season. So what they did back in 2004 might be different from now.
