Yeap, really like the draft by the Jags. Its been a long time, but the team is finally going to be competitive. Can't believe we go Jack in the 2nd rd, hoping the knee holds up.

The Ravens 4th round with the 5 picks they had and the players selected looks pretty impressive. Time well only tell though how impressive those picks turn out to be.

At this point in time draft grades are pretty pointless to give out.
About the only thing you can do is evaluate how teams used their picks and the moves they made to get picks. Doing that I think Cleveland did really well to trade themselves down a couple times and pick up a slew of third rounders plus some more picks for next year.

Fun day at ESPN, Cris Carter and Ray Lewis are out (to the joy of the entire planet), Sean McDonough is in for MNF. Obviously Cris couldn't find a fall guy to take the hit for him, and hopefully Ray doesn't get into any white suit messes after this.

that's awesome news....great play by play guy and has been at it a long time now.
Interesting they let Carter go, though with some of his "comments' the last few years, it really doesnt come as a surprise.
I do wonder if they are lobbying hard to get Peyton go join them now.
Lewis was awful from day 1 as a TV guy, though he was also rendered really quite irrelevant.

Yikes...just read that Mike Ditka is out as well as far as NFL countdown goes and Trent Dilfer is gone too (do not agree with this one as i think he is a fabulous analyst) and that to replace Carter on MN countdown they go with.....Randy friggin Moss???
One mouth piece to another. It's like they couldn't go forward without a fomrer Viking receiver who simply couldn't stay out of his own way as a player.
Also coming in in different roles are Matt Hasselbeck and Charles Woodson (really really smart guy).

With gold and diamonds, I guess he'll be able to get some of his money when he goes broke after retirement.

Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor has been accused of sexually assaulting a 27-year-old employee at the Cheerleaders Gentlemen’s Club, according to a report from Philadelphia Magazine. The incident allegedly took place after the Eagles' final minicamp practice on Thursday.
"There was an allegation made against one of the [Eagles] players of a sexual assault that was reported by one of the female dancers," said Police Commissioner Richard Ross. "Our Special Victims Unit is actively running on the investigation."
Ross said detectives are trying to track down video footage from the club. Ross said the Police Department has been in contact with Eagles officials. Agholor is expected to be interviewed by investigators some time soon. He has not been charged with any crime.

I like Fletcher Cox, really nice player. I think Von Miller likes him even more because if Cox is worth 6 years, $103 million with $63 million guaranteed, Von has to be worth at least $120 million over 6 with $70 million guaranteed. Broncos cannot be happy to see that deal.
