Johnny is a prototype of the perfect hockey player. Insane skills, humble, wears a toque a little too much, loyal, tough as nails, calls people bud. It's like hockey was concentrated and put in his dna.

I think his Dad did his part by owning a hockey rink so Johnny and his bro could live and breath hockey every day.

Johnny Hockey is an apt nickname.

should be you. he is aboslutely right. monahan is 2nd line center taking advantage of playing with gaudreau and inflating his stats due to an absence of true first line center.

Sure pal!
So, according to you how many of these "true" first line centers are in the league? I am willing to bet your list is either very small or a lot of them play with talented wingers.

After you get your list together now name how many were better than Monahan after their 2nd NHL season.
