I've started watching him more and more since the trade deadline to try and get bead on him, and I'm no longer interested. I think Ramo could have numbers like that on that team.
If he was a UFA, I'd say maybe, but remembering we'd have to give up assets for him? Reimer please

thank God he isn't - I don't want him anywhere near this ####show
give him a full night off and start fresh tomorrow
Hartley was secretly a genius tonight

Totally agree. Goaltending, PP and PK are the 3 main reasons (by a mile) the Flames have been as bad as they have this season.

Nah, he even lost a 7 game series to Mike Yeo. Hitch is basically the same mold as Hartley. Won a cup a long time ago, hasn't coached in so much as a conference finals since 2003-2004.

If I recall he was really poor in another game against us too. Hiller was in net for that one and we lost anyway.
I really don't see Andersen as the answer. He is prone to poor games against poor competition.

GOOD NEWS:
- Shinkaruk scores first NHL goal
- Giordano hits 20 goals
- Monahan hits 60 points

If Hartley does one thing and one thing only in this off season, it'll be to watch every game tape of the teams that come into the Honda Centre and win. Then copy that plan point for point. The way we fold in the Honda Centre is almost becoming more annoying that our goaltending or top 6 woes.

I understand that tanking helps acquire players at the draft. Never been a fan of it. I cheer for my team to win.
So when the coach of the team dresses a 38 year goalie that has played 2 games in the last 15 months, and Hiller who has not been able to stop anything this season it makes me question Hartley.
When the season ends Gelinas needs to be fired. Hartley doesnt like it? Fire him too. I will say what I do not know is if upper management is guiding who Hartley plays. I doubt it though. Really doubt it!
Been seeing way to much of Bollig and Stajan for the past few games.
I dont like Grant on the top line. He is not a winger. Play him at center. Grant as a winger is a waste of his talent.
Play him with Poirier, or move Poirier to the RWing with Monahan.
Keep Ferland with Bennett. Good combo although Ferland has missed so many chances.

If they change equipment size, I have to wonder how much that would affect a guy like Bishop.

I wouldn't judge Andersen too harshly, not everyone can come off the bench cold and play like a beast like Hiller.

"5419" would be more subtle. "ShotThePuckAndItHitDumbaOnTheHeadAndWentInHah " would be a more suitable choice.

Mark Giordano also picked up his 212th career assist, passing Craig Conroy for 13th most on the #Flames since they moved to Calgary in 1980

Goalie stats could frequently be a result of the team playing in front of them. Van Luongo vs. Florida Luongo. It goes both ways though. Andersson could be a bit of an illusion in front of that team.

Down grade his value so we can get him on the cheap side at the draft.
