Coaching? Sub .700 goaltending isn't coaching.

I wanna see a Blues knockout in the first round so Hitchcock is available. Other than that, keep Hartley. No point in making a lateral move

I can understand the rationale for dressing Hiller in this situation. Why in poo perfect hell is Ortio not one of the two goalies every damn night?

Why would you want a coach who hasn't made round 2 in 3 years vs. a coach who just made round 2 last year though?
Hitchcock is the very definition of a lateral move.

Fair point, but I just think he's one of the better coaches in the league

I'm not sure if Hartley is the answer for next year and beyond or not, but I do know better goaltending this season would have made him look a heckuva lot better as a coach.

Going from Boudreau - Trotz or Trotz - Laviolette or Mclellan -> De Boer was a lateral move for those teams as well but sometimes you need a change.

In his second game with the #Flames, Hunter Shinkaruk's two points equals Markus Granlund's production since joining the Canucks.

Who cares if the friggin playoffs are coming up, if Keith deserves more than 5 games, give it to him.
I hate hearing these dinosaurs talk like it's ok as long as he doesn't miss any playoff games. That's garbage.

So does this change anyone's minds about Andersen? Just one game but still pretty bad showing

Because it's Keith. A 4th liner gets at least 3, depending on their history. Rinaldo would get 10+ for that.

I wonder if at the very least management pushes for changes in the assistants as special teams have been as much a tire fire as the goaltending.

This is my biggest pet peeve with Sportsnet. The analysts all talk over each other. Imagine fans new to the game trying to wrap their heads around that

Duncan Keith maybe a Conn Smythe winner, but he is also a dirty sob.

I've watched him a few times this year where he didn't impress me at all, but his stats are really nice so who knows. He's not my first choice.

I'd rather have Elliott or Bishop on the Flames than Andersen, IMO.
