If that's the road you want to go down.

So you're a bandwagon fan then?

Bandwagon doesn't mean what you're implying here.

Wideman’s return to the lineup makes things very complicated. Because Tyler Wotherspoon was up on emergency recall, he’ll have to be returned to Stockton of the American League now that Wideman is ready to return. As soon as the Flames had six healthy, regular defencemen ready to go, emergency conditions would disappear which is the case now. To make matters more complicated, TJ Brodie will miss tonight’s game with a mid-body injury but they’ll be able to stay at six d-men with Engelland’s return to the lineup. Engelland missed Wednesday night with a minor lower body injury.

I am actually expecting a very strong game back from Wideman. I think he will be a man with something to prove tonight. As for Engelland I think Jokipakka will compliment him well, and it would be a very physical pairing to play against. At least that's what my rose colored glasses tell me.

I'm expecting that the coyotes will all need new shin pads after Dennis Wideman is done shooting directly at them today.

I just remember last season when he was scratched for a game, and returned like a rejuvenated player. This time he had 19 games, so there's, hopefully, a chance he finds his game again.

With the Wideman reduction, I wonder how many penalties called tonight...

Not that many, but Wideman might just get a game misconduct on his first shift, to make the punishment an even 20 games.

Be interesting to see the Yotes without OEL. He's a big part of the team and the power play obviously. Of course we're without Brodie as well. Both teams missing their best defensemen.

I really hope Wideman doesn't go on a rampage cross checking refs in the face this time.

Nope. We'd still be in an emergency situation having only 11 healthy forwards. We can keep Agostino up until we have 12 healthy forwards not including him.

I'm pretty impressed with the tank job being pulled off for this game.

Arizona announces OEL won't play, Flames raise them TJ Brodie, Sam Bennett

Spoiler!

Kristen Odland ‏@Kristen_Odland:

Yes, it's true. Deryk Engelland is wearing an 'A' on his sweater.

Wideman out for warm-ups with no 'A' on his sweater.

Wideman and Nakladal are paired together in warm-ups.
