a year ago, it was oleksiak and nemeth in the race for a spot. Jokipakka came from Europe and outta nowhere made the stars. Good potential, impressed with him whole watching stars

Awesome trade. Wasn't sure about the condition or not, wrongly assumed it was "Maybe a 2nd". Now that it's a guaranteed second round pick, with potential to move to a 1st, that's fantastic value.

Don't know much about Pollack, Jokipakka doesn't have a tonne of upside but he's a typical Finnish defender, skates wells, moves well, not overly physical but not a wuss. And I generally like the Finnish blueliner.

Good value by Treliving, patience and some creativity paid off.

Good on the Stars for protecting themselves a little, acquiring a guy that's been injured the past couple weeks.

First two rounds are within the division. If Dallas beats St. Louis in the first round, they likely get Chicago in the 2nd (or the wildcard team if Chicago lose).
