Montreal isn't in the playoffs

Gaudreaus little move to keep that play onside and then make a pass was insane.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that Hartley has to put players into positions they shouldn't be in based on the number of top caliber forwards this team has.

Clearly it didn't come across, my entire post was tongue in cheek, the Montreal playoffs thing was meant to meant to make it clear given its not true.

When this roster is ready for prime time Joe (or someone like him) will be in a 3rd or 4th line role where they belong...guys are being asked to play above their heads so don't be surprised when they struggle at times

Yeah, I'm not sure what these positions actually are - except maybe the one or two game experiment on the top line (and I can see the theory on that one). I don't disagree with putting him in the second power play unit to stand in front of the net. Other than that, he's been a third or fourth line winger.

He was on the point, "quarterbacking". Like... what??

You mean line Colborne over Frolik, Bennet, etc? Ok.

False, if Hartley would stop 'shoehorning' players into incorrect positions throughout the lineup it would solve all the flames' problems.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that there is not a lot of players on our team that fit into positions full time.
