In all seriousness, it does seem to be really random as to when it slows down, so I have no idea how to help other than to have a thread where people can post about when the slowdowns are happening and roughly how long it's taking to load. Maybe then you can narrow down the problem.

Of course, it would be difficult to post in that thread when the slowdown occurs, but that's another issue.
I think CP is on twitter. Perhaps we should just tweet them. Also. It's suddenly slow again for me right now.

Edit. If the hat order page is accurate, you can email CP at boardadmin@calgarypuck.com.

At his young age i am amazed at how much of an effective wreaking ball Bennet is out the there. Especially being a skilled player. Young Wendell Clark.

I found that worth exploring.

Blocks / Corsi Against:

5v5 2014/15: 59 / 1033 = 5.7%

PK 2014/15 23/270 = 8.5%

5v5 2015/16: 8 / 150 = 5.3%

PK 2015/16 4/54 = 7.4%

He's blocking slightly less shots, but that's basically just sample size. If he had blocked one more shot on the PK he would be ahead of his rate last year.

I'll have to take your word for that, as I've mentioned in the past, I have no clue how to read those stats.

It sure doesn't feel like he's blocking shots at the same rate as last year, so I'm surprised to hear that.

Half the time the pages take like 20 seconds to load for me. Completely time out sometimes. Off and on. Really, really bad tonight, worst I've seen.

Our 3rd and 4th lines were getting hemmed in for the latter half of that period. Need more from them in the 3rd.

They're hosted with ivrnet (see the ivrnet powered icon up at the top of the screen), which is a pretty robust system.

It seems the slowness earlier tonight was a networking problem, I finally was able to get into the systems and load up a networking console up, but by that time everything looks proper now.

At no point since I started looking at things this evening could I see the servers load going over 0.5 (which is loafing along), so it wasn't the servers.

@calgarypuckcom

Yup, great idea. That's the twitter, the more people to tweet at it the better IMO

Jesus, Patrick Roy looked like he was going to explode on that replay.

Just change hosts mang. AWS is pretty cheap and there won't be any speed issues.

What kinda data rates does the server do a month? Few hundred GB or more?

Ehh I don't see anything wrong with what Marchand did. Stick check vs somebody barely holding on to their stick

Nothing to really 'read'. It's just percentage of shot attempts by the other team that he's blocked. Last season he blocked 23 of the 270 shot attempts he faced on the PK, this season he's blocked 4 of the 54 shot attempts he's faced on the PK.

re: Bouma. fair to say his shooting percentage is coming back to reality. His role seems entirely different this year and as noted, spending much less time with Backlund.

The injury has set him back but doesn't seem like Hartley really knows what to do with him either.

If Brodie isn't playing for Canada in the World Cup this summer I'll be shocked.

And Bennett and Backlund. All five guys touched the puck on that one.
