Did you check the ball bearings?

If I don't know things are slow, it's hard to know things are slow.

This happens every couple days. Calgarypuck is generally one of the slowest websites I visit.
A long term solution has to be found. Wouldn't love if Bingo actually commented on this. And this isn't to you but others.. Please no donation drive. I'll donate again if I get a cut of the paid advertising sub forums.

Romanuk still terrible. Behind the play and missing some of the subtlies, or getting mixed up.
Good saves by Hiller.

Are the servers being hosted by a provider or are they sitting in some guys garage? What sorta upload does the connection have? Seems odd to have so many issues tbh.
Why not put it in a public cloud and be done with it?

Hiller playing an improved hybrid system getting to butterfly quicker when the puck is in proximity. He's made a lot of good basic positional saves. Instead of trying to stop the puck being in good position works most of the time.

Canucks were coming on a bit in that period. especially late. Hope the Flames can come out flying in the 3rd and bury them.

CP appear to be hosted on Network Solutions servers, out of California.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
In all seriousness, it does seem to be really random as to when it slows down, so I have no idea how to help other than to have a thread where people can post about when the slowdowns are happening and roughly how long it's taking to load. Maybe then you can narrow down the problem.
Of course, it would be difficult to post in that thread when the slowdown occurs, but that's another issue.

He's not playing that run-n-gun neutral zone game with Mikael Backlund. It's as simple as that.

He's a much different player. I can't remember the last time he blocked a shot. Ever since he was injured, that element of his game seems to have completely disappeared. I understand why, I'm sure that injury hurt like hell, but that compete level was what made him so effective. Without it, he's not nearly the same.
|
I found that worth exploring.
Blocks / Corsi Against:
5v5 2014/15: 59 / 1033 = 5.7%
PK 2014/15 23/270 = 8.5%
5v5 2015/16: 8 / 150 = 5.3%
PK 2015/16 4/54 = 7.4%
He's blocking slightly less shots, but that's basically just sample size. If he had blocked one more shot on the PK he would be ahead of his rate last year.

He had 85 blocks in 1125.65 minutes last year.
He has 12 blocks in 186.03 minutes this year (and the Flames are a better possession team).
He's was never blocking two or three per shift last season.
