We'll see, all new events suck at first but then it builds towards a rivalry.
Every year is too much though, just do it in odd years.

when is the double's final?
The Aussies that I knew always remembered Nestor as the guy who stole the doubles gold from the "Woodies" at the Sydney Olympics. So the crowd may be pro Murray.

mraonicIt hurts light hell now at this moment. The heartbreak and the disappoint. Regardless, I will not let this keep me down. That is not how I was raised and that is not the kind of person that I am. I thrive of challenges and of difficult moments that on the other side make me better and make me stronger. It's infuriating for the tournament to end on this note and to have to face this knot in my stomach. But it's not the end. Not by any means. I am better than that and I will overcome the challenges my body presents to me, I work far to damn hard and commit every waking moment to tennis, my ambitions and my goals, to not do that. I will grow from this and I will learn. I will give myself this opportunity again and I will move on in a better light. It may not be today or tomorrow but I am gonna do everything to make sure it's someday!
At the end of the day, it has been a very special January. I have showed great amounts of improvement and development in my tennis. I have played great and I have done a whole lot of winning. That feels great and I will keep pushing that forward.
A huge thank you to the fans and supporters who show their love and passion, on court, through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and any other way possible. You guys are great to me and I am forever grateful. I will much more to cheer for.
With much love!
Milos

I'm really impressed at how Milos has improved his game.
Should we be worried that he is injury prone? Is this more of a risk for a 6'5" man, when playing tennis?

They remarked during the broadcast that the wear on a 6'5" player (Raonic) versus 6'2" (Murray) is significant and requires greater attention to maintain the body.
It's one of the drawbacks for the benefit of larger size. Less mobility and harder on the body.

I think we should be more worried that Pospisil can't go more than 2 matches without getting hurt

It absolutely has to be harder on his body. And yeah, it should be a concern, he's only 22.

Milos will be ok, he has to pick and choose which tournaments to play and not vulture 250 tournaments.
Pospisil is a lost cause, doesn't have the body for the tour.
Federer is just a marvel, how does he never get hurt?

At one point, I was thinking that Vasek should drop the doubles play and focus mainly on singles play, but now I've done a 180 and I think his main focus should be doubles (he can be this generation's Nestor for Canada) as I agree, his body can't take the wear and tear/demands of the ATP tour.

yeah it would be awesome if Nestor won an Olympic medal in 2000, then nestor/pospisil in 2016 then pospisil and a newbie in 2032 lol

Nestor and Stepanek lost in 3 sets in the finals. One of the opponents is a Murray.

Stupid Murrays...
Awesome for Kerber though! No disrespect to Williams, but it's nice to get rid of that calendar slam hype early.
