I like happy Polak.
Hey Flames, could you keep winning so that we can keep happy Polak around here more often?

Disagree.
Thrilled is when we traded for and signed Dougie Hamilton. That is a very measured response. I was never against it, and was (and still) am happy we have Gio locked up, but I had concerns at the time (mentioned injuries and length) but didn't make a massive issue of it, just stated it. Sure we saw panicked posts earlier in the season, that's Calgarypuck for you but the real disingenuous post was Cali Panthers post where he now admits to baiting people.

Edit: you were talking about Gio right? I didn't really verify haha

Yes,Gio BUT you missed in an earlier post I said for the last 2 years of his his current contract he has been great.
I think for his last 2 years he has been great but his first half of his contract that he was reliable but not elite.

Ok so he's been elite for the past 2 seasons. Before that he was not. Agreed more or less. I thought you were saying that he wasn't elite, that he was only reliable and that there are a ton of d men as good as him.

Thanks. I'm good at movies but not the Will Ferrell variety. Sounded like some sort of oiler type "Nuge is really rippin' da quad bro!" thing.
Flames win and I learned some new movie trivia. Been a good night.

"Not thrilled" doesn't mean "Happy" though. Sure, if the English language made any damn sense "Not thrilled" could literally mean what you're implying it means. But in the real world, "Not Thrilled" has a far more negative connotation.

LOL. If any contract short of Hamilton qualifies as "Not Thrilled" for you, you'd better start referring to that position for the vast majority of contracts on the Flames.
And there was nothing disingenuous about Cali's post - you've got people like Erik Estrada as recently as the last 2 days saying Giordano's dead is horrible and a total anchor on the franchise.

If you haven't watched a lot of the Blackhawks watch the kid closely, he's the real deal and isn't just riding Kane's coattails. Panarin drives a lot of offence himself.

Agree the kid is good but in the context of comparing 2 rookies Beenet v. Panarin one is 19 vs one being 24.

You really don't like me, do you?
For someone who has a sarcastic biting tone in nearly every post, you sure can't appreciate it when anyone else does it.

Definitely. I just had to take exception when several people are suggesting that Panarin's totals are mostly because of Kane. Panarin is an offensive dynamo himself.
I'm a huge Bennett fan. Had him ranked 2nd for that draft behind Ekblad and was ecstatic when he fell to us. His upside is enormous. It's gonna be interesting to see when and if they switch him back to centre. I still think he ends up our #1 centre ahead of Monahan.
