Yeah that's what I'm thinking, too. I think they're going to have to re-sign Bradford now because there just aren't any better options. Better play-calling and better offensive line play next year should be enough to keep them competitive in a lousy division.

Yeah, the draft sucks for QB's so see if Braford will go for a one or two year deal. I felt all year that better line play and play calling/clock management could have netted us a 10 win season. I truly hated Kelly's offense, it was brutal and just taxed the hell our of the D. Conner Barwin figures his D played an average of 3 more games than what Seattle's did. That's terrible and no recipe for winning.

I have a dilemma on Saturday. Chiefs @ Texans kickoff at 2:30, my sons hockey game puck drops at 3:45. Normally I would just PVR the game, however we are away at a tournament so I won't be home until Sunday night.
I was thinking of maybe getting NFL Gamepass (or whatever the streaming service is). Just wondering if anyone here has used it for watching games on their phones over the mobile network? Is it even available in Canada? If so, would you recommend it?

Is your son any good, or is now as good a time as any to crush his dreams?

Ha ha, he is pretty good actually. He's a big fan also, but his team needs him.

NFL gamepass doesn't have live playoff games in Canada...just on demand if that works for you.

Packers is the one to worry about now. But yeah obviously pretty shocking both Pagano and Grigson are back. Pagano should be but Grigson has hung him out to dry with a horrible roster. Irsay just never completely makes sense.

Chargers, Rams, and Raiders all have submitted the official paperwork to relocate to Los Angeles next year, tonight.
Proposals reviewed and voted on NEXT week. Just like that, for a billion dollar (3, actually) NFL franchise to move cities.

Kansas City and New England were the only two teams who made the playoffs playing the same guy for every game. Its funny if you rated the AFC West QB's based on this years play I think most would say Rivers, Carr, Smith, Osweiller/Manning would be the pecking order. opposite to how the teams finished in the standings. Seems like in the AFC unless you have Brady, teams are relying on more than the QB to win.
I do agree that the Chiefs are at a point where Smith has 2-3 more years left. If there is a great value to be had in the draft they likely should make a move. They made this exact error years ago not grabbing Aaron Rogers because they had Trent Green only to force Green out a year later.

What a degenerate. Biggest trainwreck ever drafted because everyone knew it was going to happen.

Doesn't look like any of the teams will have the necessary 24 votes to relocate. Found an interesting blog here.

We are told that the Spanos/Davis proposal might have the upper hand because the Chargers owner has been a good soldier in league affairs for years, and a number of owners will back him for that reason. Kroenke, in contrast, is portrayed as a lone wolf. This would be a guess.
-- We are told, by others supposedly in the know, that the league itself would prefer that the Raiders not be part of the L.A. mix. Also speculation, but there’s logic behind this.
After all, while the Raiders have by far the largest existing fan base in SoCal of the three teams, theirs is not considered the clientele that will appeal to corporate interests, much less the one percenters who will be asked to pony up for the Personal Seat Licenses necessary to help fund a new stadium.
