Yeah that's what's most interesting, and kind of makes him sociopathic. He came on here for years, built bonds and developed some friendships on here, all the while knowing he intends on just ripping us off if he can.

His racist, anti-Muslim posts will be not missed at least. I'd be shocked if he's not a Trump supporter. Maybe our donations are going to that, for Ian to support his favorite Fuhrer.

What an idiot, using his real name all the time too. Maybe he's just a complete moron. He made too many mistakes.

That's true on the gator forum as well, so it's not like he's a Nigerian prince or anything. There are likely elements of truth to his story - though it's possible those leg bandages concealed a waxing rash - and it sure doesn't look like a professional scam attempt.

I've put a call in to Anonymous. They should have this figured out shortly.

Yeah, I'm over it. Being a ###### like him your whole life would be exhausting I think.

Enjoy the $50, I won't waste any emotion on you as well.

I didn't know about the first GoFundMe when I donated. I don't think I would have if I did know. I feel scammed.

Having said that, it's getting a little witchhunty in here. I'd like to learn the facts before his life gets flamed.

meh, I just gave $20. It would have just been spent on cocaine and hookers anyway. I don't even think I want the type of cocaine and hookers I can get for $20.

For diligence sake, if I may, I'd like to make a suggestion: any threads soliciting financial help or selling something must be pre-approved by mods before posting.
The mods could have made the same mistake we all did with this guy, given the below.

Don't flatter yourself. You have a long way from where you are now to being a good, funny dink rather than a bitter, aggressive dink. This was a good first step though and a credit is due. Immerse yourself in this wonderful feeling. Maybe, you'll like it and want to experience it repeatedly.

Didn't he say he'd been out of work for a while in his OP? Doesn't really look like it, but maybe his employer would like to know what he's been up to.
Assuming that he is using his real name and providing his real work history and present employment details, it probably wouldn't be all that difficult to find the guy in person.

There aren't that many Hampton Inns or Hilton Garden Inns in Tuscaloosa (or in Tampa/St. Pete, for that matter), so tracking him down and figuring out where he is now and what he's done with the money (should one--or some government agency---wish to do so) shouldn't take too long.

Yeah his DOB and current address are online, it is easy.
