I'm wondering if he's pulled this off from other sites or just this one. Obviously wouldn't be a shock if this isn't the first site he's done this on. I'm kinda surprised he basically admits to it with his new avatar/profile info rather than just disappearing over time. Almost rubbing our faces in it.

Is this the best example of a "I didn't think this thread would go like this" thread?

Several months later PIMking started a thread about being homeless and living in his car. It caught the attention of all of Calgarypuck, myself included as I also donated (what a dink and ### I am). In that thread several posters suggested he start a GoFundMe page, when PIMking replied to that suggestion he claimed he had no idea what that was or how to do it. He knew what GoFundMe was back in March. The thread has since been obliterated or archived but I'm sure a mod can back me up on that rather easily.

Someone has to ask the awkward questions and if that makes me a dink in your eyes, so be it. I'll gladly take that label everyday of the god damn week and twice on Sundays if that's the case.

Also, I'm still hilarious. Fact.

The one above looks like it was created on March 27, 2015.

Anyone want to see what was created on April 20, 2015 and raised $2,375?

The one everyone here donated to was created October 1, 2015.

For those of you who saw the original ask for money thread here, this is the same OP.

Check out the response at post #17:

Is that "someone" the same "someone" who told you to start a gofundme page last April 15 where a similar hard luck story allowed you to raise another $2300+ 5 months ago. See the link below people

https://www.gofundme.com/s8gdumk

Maybe you are going to the well one time too often.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little pissed, and not so much because I donated to him too, moreso because he took advantage of the CP community as a whole. I feel we have a pretty good group of people here who like to help others out when they're in a bind. I hate the fact that he took advantage of it.

Take a look at his facebook feed. Quite a recovery from leg surgery that he was back on the ice so quick.

You gotta be a little bit sociopath to do this. Build up rapport with multiple online communities for years for a payout. Or maybe it's a half-truth and he actually did have all these surgeries but just realized he could milk it and get more money than he needed by stretching the truth.

Reports him for fraud. They ask for your name and number in case local authorities want to contact you. I'm not sure what the legal ramifications (if any) are for something like this.

So can we force his avatar to be changed to a picture of a giant #######?

Just want to say, if people do want to go the fraud route, I'd start screencapping stuff before he starts trying to take it down.
