Don't know why I'm complaining- have tickets for tomorrow night. And if I recall correctly, they typically only show these advanced screenings on regular screens and not AVX or anything?
I think it goes without saying, but definitely make a new thread when the movie comes out that contains spoilers and where people can talk about the actual plot and such. I won't be seeing it until Friday night and I swear to God if someone spoils something in this thread:
97% on rotten tomatoes??? Wow. I was tempering expectations because I've never liked JarJar Abhrams' style. Now I'm super pumped. May even have to take Thursday afternoon off to get the Bobba costume all ready to go.
Not only that, some critics are calling it the best movie of the year, bar none. Overwhelmingly positive reception all around.
Wow. Nothing can stop the hype train now. I mean even if it was really good, I was expecting some critics to be hasher on it and keep the percentage at least humble, as there's always critics that aren't fanboys that'll see it from a sans-hype perspective, but I guess people are generally just enjoyed it thoroughly as a film. Awesome.
