Clearly you either weren't alive then or didn't have hair then. Its not like we had product except for Ozone destroying hair spray.

We were coming off the hippy revolution, where we were growing it sort of long and letting it go.

Have any of you guys seen this series of videos called "What if Episodes I, II, III were good?"

This guy narrates an alternate plot for each of the movies, complete with storyboards, and it makes for a really cool storyline that sets up for the original trilogy much better than the prequels do. He just released his episode III today, check em out:

Those were actually quite a bit better, especially when they meet Anakin for the first time.

I particularly like how he uses Owen Lars as an important character in episodes 2 and 3.

Yeah, those were really good. I will admit, he lost me on the Phantom Menace chnages, but the II and III were really flowed a lot better and I liked the change to Dooku, and keeping Maul around longer.

Guys are you seeing the new one in 3D or regular?

I don't go to movie theaters enough to have a strong opinion one way or the other. Do you think this film should be viewed in 3D?

I wanted to see it in regular imax, but only 3D imax was available. Second viewing will be regular no imax, no 3D.

i got tickets earlier today for thursday night. apparently there are still lots of seats available in kelowna - so that's sweet!

myself and a buddy are going and it will be a regular screen (not 3d). i'm not really a fan of 3d but i might go see it later in 3d - who knows

i know i do plan on seeing episode 7 at least 2 or 3 times in the theater.

i'm soooo pumped for thursday night.... flames game from 5:30 - 8pm-ish (gotta go with 'ish' in case the game goes to o.t. and johnny does it again!!) then help put the kids to bed, then off to see star wars - sweet!!

I am not a star wars fan personally, but if I was, I would not be on the internet at all for days until I saw it personally. Anyone who spoils this is a ******bag of epic proportions

That's Reddit in a nutshell right there. At this point, the only way to avoid spoilers is to turn off the internet (websites, forums, reddit, twitter etc.), don't watch TV, avoid newspapers, and just generally avoid people who may have already seen the movie.

Well folks, the embargo lifted.

And it's 99% certified fresh on RT!!!!

Not only that, some critics are calling it the best movie of the year, bar none. Overwhelmingly positive reception all around.

Wow. Nothing can stop the hype train now. I mean even if it was really good, I was expecting some critics to be hasher on it and keep the percentage at least humble, as there's always critics that aren't fanboys that'll see it from a sans-hype perspective, but I guess people are generally just enjoyed it thoroughly as a film. Awesome.

So a couple months ago I bought tickets for Saturday IMAX 3D, great seats.
Then my aunt had to go and have her family Xmas party that day, which I found out this week. End of the day I had to give my buddy my tickets.
Instead of waiting too long (as I didn't want anything spoiled for me) I now have tickets for Sunday night. AVX screen with 3D and sitting too close. I figure average seats and no spoilers is better than waiting for good seats and having total spoilers.
