Yes please. It pains me when someone says he played well...he could have a shot on net and he'd exceed everyone's expectations which is why when he does something so simple a few claim he's played better. Better than god awful launch into the sun bad is still awful. Raymond might literally be the worst player in the NHL.

You mean worst non-goon/enforcer player. That makes more sense.

Just say no to launching people.
You can launch people all you want, but do you think you guys could maybe choose a different receptacle?

Raymond has been waived. Nobody claimed him. They give him PP time because they need to rebuild his value. Beyond that, he's still really fast and he has a pretty good shot.

Yes a little hyperbole but at least goons aren't getting 15 minutes of ice time. Raymond is so bad at everything he does. His speed is useless since he's too fast for his hands. There is no way he gets another NHL contract after this one expires. Why he's on this team and getting minutes baffles me.

Edit: just noticed this is the Granlund thread. Sorry for the de-rail.

Pluto moves too fast and Jupiter takes too long.

Alpha Centauri?

I apologize, the sun is just so efficient and difficult to miss.

I'm not so sure. Last time I saw somebody launched into the sun, they missed narrowly, slingshotted around, and ended up in San Francisco in the 1980s, looking for humpback whales.

Let's not go there again, again.

ObOnTopic: If anybody's going to be sent down at this stage, I'd actually favour Jooris. He's not getting it done at the NHL level so far this season, and I'm sure he would clear waivers. Thing is, he's young enough, and adaptable enough, that he could easily get his game back in Stockton and be an asset for the future. If you send Raymond down, you're just parking him in the minors till his contract runs out.

Mercury. Low of -173 C tonight, with a high of +427 C in the afternoon tomorrow.

I think Jooris might get claimed. He's a bit like Byron, speedy, tenacious forechecker, little finish, but would be a useful player.

It really shouldn't be a question at all on who gets sent down. It should be the player that you want least on the roster, and that has to be Raymond due to his lack of production and salary. Even though I think he's actually competing a lot more for pucks and really battling now.

He's not going to get claimed so you have him work on his game in Stockton. And you call him back up if there's an injury to a scoring winger. It's really simple.

People need to stop calling Raymond a "goal scorer". He has had 2 seasons where he totaled more than 15 goals: 25 in 09/10 and 19 in 13/14. Every other year he's averaged around 12 goals. That's a 3rd liner at best, nothing more. It would be like calling David Jones a "goal scorer" when he had 2 good seasons.

So he is uniquely qualified for a job at Dunkin Donuts.

Speed, service and muffins!
