Well, credit to United, that was no powderpuff group. Initially I didnt think it would too tough but Wolfsburg are good and PSV arent garbage, but they should have at least qualified.
Say what you will about United being slow, it isnt as though Van Gaal hasnt been allowed to spend money and buy players.
If it isnt good enough theres only one direction to point the finger in.

Well Van Gaal obviously will feel the heat now. Needs a nice run in the league to quiet the fans down. Though to be fair, had they progressed because PSV lost or they squeezed out a draw and got through, they really wouldn't have deserved it anyways. I doubt fans would give him a break even then.

I don't watch every game of theirs so maybe you're right, but when I do watch them it certainly appears they simply don't have the players right now. Martial looks good but Memphis does not and Lingaard doesn't have the finishing skill. Rooney is obviously slow, Fellaini not great, and Schweinsteiger and Carrick both have lots of mileage. But maybe that's where Van Gaal is a problem, rather than adapting to what he has, he tries to force a system that can't work.

Completely disagree. They have a squad of personnel there that is more than capable of coming out of that group and to say the quarters. As for speed? They are no faster or slower than other teams. It is their style of playing that is slow and lethargic, not the players.

Does anyone know how the Euro draw works this weekend? I know that they draw one team from each pot per group but if you are drawn from Pot 3 into group C does that mean that you are C3 on the schedule?
