At least it hasn't been dull today for a change 
Not overly disappointed, United simply didn't deserve to advance and I expected that result all week.

I havent watched because of relentless TV greed, but thats the way the German teams play, they attack you. It leaves them open, I mean, I think United have scored more this afternoon than they have all month and one of those was an OG, but they attack and they've got guys that'll score goals.

United was eliminated after the dreadful performance at home against PSV. And to boot on top of losing tonight a couple of their guys look hurt. They'd be wise to intentionally lose themselves out of the Europa and focus on the league which is wide open.

Well, its mostly about the money.
United spent, what, nearly £200M this off-season on new players? And they dont get out of the group stage?
Somebody's not going to be too happy about that.

Drawn into a pretty decent group too. The money spent matters but I think Champions League showed how poor their depth still is even after the money they spent. They also are a very slow team, they simply have no pace to threaten teams.
