She's good IMO. I really like that she just seems genuine and she's a lot nicer to look at too!

Kristen Hallett looks like a jock, talks like a jock and acts like a jock. IMO she would be perfect for the host job of a professional sport broadcast. I like the credibility she brings to the discussion.
Then add in a couple of insider (i.e.played the game) analysts with a pulse - Shannon and Sutter are lively as corpses and have most vanilla opinions I have ever heard - and I might actually watch the pre/intermission/post game shows.

People have opinions about napkins, street signs, the design of currency; basically everything. I am surprised when people don't have opinions.

Yeah, meant to add that in my previous post, John Shannon is the absolute worst. He really gets under my skin for whatever reason. I like Sutter and Colby, but Shannon GTFO

There's really only one person that makes me stop to listen when they talk about hockey, and that's Bob McKenzie.
Everyone else is 2nd rate compared to him.
That being said, Leah's more than competent at her job. Not really exceptional though.

What about Friedman? When he talks, I listen.

A family member played with the Sutter twins and refers to him as "Richie" all the time.
Obviously teammates have nicknames for each other that other people don't use, but it's also very possible that most people he would consider friends call him Richie.

I like Freidman as an insider, but he seems weird and awkward when he talks to people. He's a "close talker" and really stares at the person deeply. Then when the other person talks, he makes funny little expressions sometimes, almost like he is talking under his breath. And he asks some relatively simple questions in really convoluted ways sometimes.

Friedman is good, but I still consider him 2nd rate compared to McKenzie.
And yes, if I ever see Colby Armstrong and his stupid jokes on tv again it will be too soon.
I know nobody gets a chance to watch the NHL network in Canada anymore, but I also like EJ Hradek and Kevin Weekes for the most part (not as good as McKenzie or Friedman obviously).

Colby Armstong is super annoying with his "I've been there" or "Trust me, I've been there"..
Yes Colby we know, you played in the NHL.

I think Friedman and Mackenzie are about equal when it comes to inside knowledge, but I prefer Freidman's personality and delivery.
