Leah's great - she's a good host, easy on the eyes, and is much, much smarter than her panel most nights.
Ball/Hrudey are great together. Really a treat to hear them call our games.
Peter Maher and Mike Rogers were amazing and I miss them.

I might be in the minority, but I like PJ Stock. He might not be an articulate or eloquent speaker, but I usually like what he says. It's like having one of your buddies on the panel.

Leah's good. She knows her stuff and she asks the right questions to engage the analysts to talk about things in depth. I find it funny though that Sportsnet doesn't zoom in on her when she's talking while the camera zooms in on all the other men personnel on the same table. I think she looks better than all the old folks on that table.

I think we're very lucky to have our broadcast team (Leah & co, Rick,Kelly, Roger and Eric), compared to the amateur hour they get up in Edmonton.
I think Leah does a great job as host, very natural and knowledgeable. I'm sure she'll get poached for bigger and better things soon.

Actually I think Sportsnet stole her from Comcast (CSN)? So she's probably going to be around a while.

It's very apparent she only has a cursory knowledge of the league and its players, but as a host she's fine. Not great, but it could be a lot worse. Id like to know what team has Jeff Marek as host.

I've seen Marek a talking panel head with mostly the Hab's Snet feeds this season. Hope it helps.

Good observation. The Oilers radio broadcast is slick and professional. Stauffer is a talent and a hockey encyclopedia. I'm not yet sold on Michaels' play by play but he seems to be here for the long haul. I really like Rob Kerr and Loubardious but otherwise the FAN 960 had really gone downhill in the production and talent departments. Maher left almost impossible shoes to fill.

She was with NESN in Boston prior to joining Sportsnet. That's where I first heard of her. She did some stories on Johnny when he was in College and Iggy when he was with the Bruins.

She's no Kelly Hrudey but she does a really good job. I was skeptical the first time I saw her on a broadcast because it seems that sportscasts often have cynically different standards for their male hosts and female hosts when it comes to combinations of looks, knowledge and talent, but there's no doubt that her work fully merits her position.

Meh she's ok, I don't think she's great but she's not bad either. If she stayed for a few years I'd be fine with it, if she was gone after this year I really wouldn't care. She does her job fine, I find that whole panel very generic, frankly. I'm also behind on the PVR 90% of the time, so aside from the pre-game stuff, I only see her and the panel during intermissions in FF.
Didn't realize how many guys find her attractive, apparently I need to take a closer look next time. I must not, because I don't think I've ever even sized her up like that before. She's always just been kinda "generic sports host" to me.

So Sportsnet got both her and Hazel Mae from NESN?

I used to feel like stabbing pencils in my ear's every time she spoke, but have come to accept her, my sister on the other hand would love nothing more then to run her over with a truck.... she is not a fan!

I like the fact that she is a woman hired to host sports programming who actually has knowledge of the game. Kind of like Flames TV having Kristen Hallett, who used to play college hockey.

It always amazes me that people can be so opinionated about sports broadcasters.
