Default Black Friday 2015 - Deals and Advice

Any monitors for AutoCAD/Productivity and the occasional gaming for sale under $350?

Edit:

Also found a new deal for the Chamberlain series garage door opener. Which one would be better? (1/2 or 1/3)

Incredible deal for a great camera.
Will Bestbuy.ca ship to the states? I can't seem to find the answer on their site. Don't imagin many people ship things that way. Also this deal is not available on bestbuy.com from what i have seen.

I think I have the second one. Both will work but I think the 3/4 hp will open a bit faster. All I know is mine is lightning quick.

Yeah, trying to get that hard drive, keeps cycling or says service not available. Someone needs to turn off the thanks feature on BestBuy.com so it can handle the traffic

Picked up this tv yesterday.

I don't know much about TVs, and have only had this thing set up for 24 hours, but the picture is unreal. My wife and I both are constantly amazed at how much depth there is in the picture. It's almost 3D but without the glasses. I don't even know how to properly describe it. It's on for $998 right now, and I'd highly recommend it already.

The Vizio 4K TVs have been on sale for about five days at BestBuy online. I tried to buy this exact model you linked to last Sunday. Put it in the cart, checked out online, got a confirmation.

Tuesday I got an email saying (despite the site saying there were six left in Alberta) they were back-orded and completely sold out. Email just pretty much said I was out of luck and my order was cancelled. They did give me a $100 credit but no info on how / when to re-order.

Tried calling their 800 number and it was an absolute gong show. Took me 20 mins to get a person on the line to explain the situation, and they just reiterated what the email said. I tried to explain I still wanted the TV and asked how I could get in cue / re-order. They tried to transfer me and hung up on me. Called back and after another ten mins got their customer service and it was a soft spoken woman who could barely speak english. I tried explaining to her I wanted to order that model or see if any other similar models *were* in stock and available to be ordered. She couldn't even understand what I was asking. Absolutely futile from a customer service standpoint.

Tried calling one more time and ended up getting a local store. Explained what happened and was told the Vizio 4K TVs sold like hot cakes in Alberta and are out of stock just about everywhere. Huge demand has them back-ordered with no info from the supplier as to when they'll be replenished.

Turns out that location had one 65" Vizio 4K Ultra left in stock. I had been debating the 60" for $1350 vs. the 65" for $1789.

After all the difficulty trying to order online, I decided to bite the bullet and grabbed the last one they had in stock for $1789. Got it home that same day and it's mint. Got it set up just in time to watch the Flames-Ducks game and it was like watching it in a movie theatre.

Only complaint is the sound isn't great with speakers on the rear... but I ended up using that $100 online credit to order a $240 soundbar that was already $100 off. Ended up paying $40 to have it shipped to me.

A lot of trouble, but now that it's all settled it's a fantastic setup and a beautiful TV. If you can track one down I recommend it.

I bought two 6300's last January for $1200.00(55 inch) and $700.00(40 inch). Back then I grinded about $400.00 off retail by buying both but you got a nice deal. Great units/picture and the smart-hub updates are great. with the 4k's coming out they should get even cheaper down the road.

I live in a townhouse, surround system is a great way to get the neighbors banging on the wall.

If you're not going with surround sound I'd still rather have a small good quality set of bookshelf speakers vs the internals.

Yeah I have a decent stereo system for movies, but after 10 at night I put on my wireless sennheisers, there is just too much base coming out of my system and I love my headphones.

TV speakers are such cheap things, that even a inexpensive small 2 speaker system with small sub is well worth it, because you will have tinny noise from most TV speakers.

Last year Amazon had the Sennheiser HD598 on sale for $139. This year they have the Special Edition version for $109. This is an amazing price for these headphones.
