I guess everything is an unconfirmed report at this point but this seems quite certain to be accurate, a number of them have been giving statements or interviews to radio stations and news outlets.

I think if officials need the roads cleared they will be cleared. Getting people out of the way seems like a good plan to this total non-expert.

Paris is a big place and I'm sure there's some transit restrictions. I applaud the cabs for doing that.
Remember it was a Friday night on a big game night too (Germany). There were likely tons of people out of their homes needed a way to get home or to a safe(r) place.

If they are executing hostages then they need to storm the place. I agree though, could be trying to draw police in, however if large number of casualties is what they are after then it's what they are going to get unless police intervene.
