The downfall of the Conservatives this election is that the campaign was not long enough.

It was all starting to unravel over the last few years. It happens to every party when they get too comfortable. Extending the election was probably a big down fall for Harper much like the early election was a killer for Prentice.

I'm optimistic that the Conservatives will work hard and fast at rebuilding and winning the next election. I know there are a lot of bright, young and capable members that can become effective leaders.
