It looks like the conservative candidate is leading in Calgary Shepherd according to this site: http://globalnews.ca/news/2148269/fe...hepard-riding/

That is good, I thought it might be closer.

They'll have to put out something really good if they want the NDP to survive as a brand in Alberta... even in the country.

Not true, but it is underrepresented.

Ontario 13.5 million 121 seats
Alberta 4.2 million 34 seats.

Yeah, maybe tonight is the kick in the ass Notley needs to start actually governing instead of complaining about how embarrassing we are.

We podunk, embarrassing cousin hillbillies want a budget.

Very happy to be working in a bulletproof industry right now. Can't wait to see NDP's budget now, and Trudeau's damage later. Time to hunker down.

It is disappointing to see that none of Alberta is going liberal. Not because I personally support the liberals, but because it is very hard to have a voice in parliament when not one member of the ruling party is form from Alberta. If Alberta gets hosed by this government, its because we have nobody to represent us.

That's some pretty backward thinking? If Alberta gets hosed by the government, it's the government's fault. Not the people of Alberta for voting for opposition MPs.

What kind of a democracy would that be if you needed to guess who the winning party is gonna be then make sure you vote a for an MP from that party so you have representation.

I get the point you are trying to make but it is a bit of an odd comparison. Unless you think someone is going to invade the Cons and throw it into chaos. I don't think Harper was such a massive influence that kept the nut job collective from losing their damn minds.

I don't think our Premiere is smart enough to actually realize she needs to represent the people that elected here. I honestly don't. Her allegiance to the NDP credo and the federal NDP-think is way too strong.

A few Liberal reps in Alberta won't make a lick of difference.
