At 67% of the vote the libs are out performing polling by 10-15%. That is a significant majority if the trend continues.

What a ####ty night so far. Atlantic Canada being as useless as ever, and now the Jays have a sizable lead. The two things I was dreading tonight.

National interest trumps all, problem is Trudeau thinks that Quebec is the national interest. He had said so in very clear terms and I highly doubt in 5 years he has abandoned such a deeply held belief.
We are in for a rough ride. All of us.

LeBlanc: "His Dad's name is Mick."

And I wholly agree with that. You can justify voting for any party for any reason, as can I. You could throw a dart at a dartboard with the pictures of the candidates, and mark your ballot with whoever the dart hots. It's your vote to waste if you wish.
I just find it surprising so many Albertans on this board are prepared to potentially vote for their own hardship. I have a sneaky feeling none of CP's O and G sector workers, are the ones throwing stones at the CPC. And I also believe that many of the people that are voting against the CPC, wouldn't be doing so, if their livelihood was potentially at stake.

No I'm in favour of a plurality of Canadians making a decision on the direction of the country for the next 4-5 years then not revisiting that decision for 4-5 years.
I'm in favour of stable predicable government's looking out for longer term interests not trying to maintain the confidence of the house or permanent posturing for an election just around the corner.
Some years the middle finger is given to myself. And living in harpers riding my federal vote hasn't mattered for years. Stability is more important.
