How's it been this season so far? His been under the radar 2 years, now he's the one to shut off and he looks so lost.. Looks so slow, lazy & just not doing anything atm.. I hope he proves me wrong but dear god, haven't seen anything good yet.

Yeah not at all. He's been our 5th or 6th best d-man so far. I've liked Kulak better.

Monahan not being good? Doubt it

@KristenOdlandCH: Sean Monahan won eight of 10 face-offs that period.

Lol what

Kulak is averaging <11m a night while Hamilton is 23+. Kulak can't handle the minutes and would look very exposed over 15, don't be a scrub.

Hard to have offense when the whole system is gambling on connecting stretch passes that never ever ****ing connect.

You mean you like Kulak in his role (6th defenseman) better than Hamilton in his role (top pairing guy)?

Maybe I could buy that argument but straight up? Hamilton has been much better than Kulak and that isn't even taking into consideration the much harder competition and the fact he is playing much more and important minutes.

I think you could describe the entire team as such. Picking out Monahan with some of your comments sounds trollish.

And playing those minutes just fine. Hamilton turns the puck over and makes bad first passes in his. I'm sure Kulak would make mistakes with more minutes but he hasn't made many so far. Hamilton has been pretty bad.

Slow and lazy? He's played well, against every team's top line. If anyone on the top line has been falling back its Hudler, who may be a bit injured, they say.

More McDavid talk.

Goody. Almost went a full 2 minutes without it.

The Flames' achilles heel offensively is their inability to play "in the paint." A younger version of Franzen or Byfuglien is exactly what they need. That way Johnny can bounce things in off them rather than shooting from 5 degree angles.

I thought Hamilton and Gio looked a lot more confident in the Game last night. Tonight I don't think anyone has looked good for the flames yet.

Also can we make a deal amongst ourselves that we don't complain about the McDavid talk every second post in the game thread. We are trolling ourselves ffs. It was always going to be this way, ignore it and let it all pass.
