bah. i find it tough to support this kind of desperation. It reminds me of the Redford-to-Prentice PCs. Say anything and utter desperation to stay in power.

This is just getting depressing...if they're going down, they sure are going down real hard.

I applaud how brazen it has been. Post Media did the same thing in the Alberta election.

They did? I know they endorsed Prentice, but selling the front page is new to me. It's literally selling out and shows absolutely zero integrity. The only possible way that could be more appalling is if they ran it as an advertorial, and then indexed other advertorials from that front page as though it was news.

I'm conflicted, no matter who I vote for there's a growing fear that Harper stays in power in minority. The NDP and Liberals may not actually be that close in ideology but I think perception is. If Harper gets a minority I'll be very disappointed and concerned.

What little credibility postmedia had left is gone.

Harper running attack ads on the front page of every major paper and hypocritically allying with Rob Ford is a fitting way for him to go out if that does happen in 48 hrs.

Was tired when I watched it and thought they were just some extremist conservatives. Didn't realize they were workig for the candidate. Yeah that's definitely a bit worse than some likely teenage vandals.

I seem to remember a full page PC attack add prior too the Alberta election, but the more I think of it the more I think you're right, having it right on the front page is unique.

I have seen those fake front page ads before. Like a wrap that has a full page ad in front of the paper but then the next page is a normal front page and the first page just falls off.

Is that the case or did they actually sell the entire front page?

Suspect this last minute hail mary stuff hurts the Cons more than it helps. The Rob Ford stuff may work in a few markets while everyone else in the country thinks they've gone crazy.

I think it's just to make sure the base gets out. They know they've lost the moderates either to the Liberals or to apathy, so now it's about trying to get as much of the base out to vote as possible.

It's official; we're turning into the UK now.

When can we expect the Sunshine Girl to be topless?
