These guys are clowns.
At the end of the day, there's no reason the other umps should be overturning the call of the guy standing 2 feet from the throw. There's no way those guys are paying enough attention to make a legitimate call. Let the players decide the game.

This is absolutely terrible. So the officials jump in and wave off the ridiculous play, the Jays players refrain from acting, and the score on them is allowed to stand. I cannot believe this.

well...that is as bizarre a moment as we will ever see in any sporting event.
Umpires were right on that call...except the wave off part which I still haven't heard an explanation for.

I'm starting to believe this is rigged, seriously, no way that should stand. It shouldn't stand if it was the other way around.

Ump vocally calling the play dead way before he signalled. How does a run count when the ump rules it dead?

I'm fine with it being a live ball, until the home ump calls time. Play should be dead.

Wow. That was ridiculous. How does this run count after the umpire at home plate waves it off?! If the Jays loose because of that call that city is gonna riot!

It's only one run but it feels like the game is over. What a complete letdown.

How Toronto of them to shoot themselves in the foot right after gaining momentum from tieing it up. Bats aren't alive so they're in real tough now.

Just throw the pitch, calling time doesn't matter.
