Yup. I kinda wish the cancelled Mad Decent. I had a decent time and the acts themselves we're awesome, but man did the rain put a damper on things. I'm over outdoor shows. Why risk it?
I need to see Odesza again!
Mad Decent was awesome. And I was sick. I don't think the rain really put a damper on things at all, seemed more packed than last year even. As long as you dressed properly it was great! I was there from 3-11 and saw every DJ. Smalltown DJs, Party Favor, Odesza, RL Grime and Major Lazer were all great.
Don't get me wrong, I had fun, I just hated the rain. I was dressed decently and only left like 10 minutes before Major Lazer was supposed to end because we didn't want to mess around with cabs.
They got Emancipator and The Funk Hunters DJ'ing this event, those two acts alone are a pretty hot deal for $25. Looks like Bassbus convinced the event organizers to throw a little money at the music acts.
Multiple sources have confirmed to Consequence of Sound that LCD Soundsystem are planning a comeback in 2016. As we hear it, the band will headline at least three high-profile music festivals in the US and UK, with an official announcement expected soon.

Yup, great live show too. I've seen quite a lot of electronic music over the past few years and Emancipator are among the best live acts, they are a rare talent.
Welcome to the new Pitchfork Guide to Festivals. Formerly an annual rundown of our favorite summer fests, we've expanded and improved the Guide to make it a year-round list. This comprehensive collection includes events all over the world, big and small, in cities and out in the countryside, in fields and clubs and parks. The only thing they all have in common? Lots of great bands.
We'll be updating the Guide regularly throughout the year. So bookmark this page and check back often.
