In order:
1991 Crown Vic. Got a kick out of everyone slowing down next to me, then speeding up again once they saw that I was a long-haired teenager.
1994 VW Corrado. Sold this to pay for tuition in the US. Lost a piece of my soul selling my 18th bday gift.
198X VW Golf (1.6L??)
199X Honda Civic with 270 mi (not km)
2002 VW Jetta 1.8T
Edit: Forgot the AutoX car: 2001 Audi TT. Heavily modified.
Haven't "owned" a car since I incorperated in 2006.

1985 Volvo DL w/ 5 speed manual
- slow but man the car had character and everyone knew it was you driving down the street as it had presence. The lessons I learned on skid control in that RWD car benefit to me today. The costs of repairs got too to be too much for me though ($1,200 for a wiring harness at the end, I sold it for $2,200 not long thereafter)
2000 Honda Accord Coupe EX.
- always loved the fastback look of these. Never got the Nissan 240SX I lusted after in high school but the practicality and reliability of the Accord Couple was unmatched.
2008 Subaru Outback 3.0
- owning a house and the need to haul materials necessitated something more practical. Love the car, not so much the dealer experience. Will never not own an AWD car after this.
Will probably go minivan next for family reasons.... (SUV's are so 2012....)

To me the Hyundai Stellar was the worst car to ever set foot on Canadian roads. Many people think it was the Hyundai Pony, but that car was fully expected to be terrible by everyone.
The Stellar was supposed to a leap forward and a "better" car incorporating lessons learned from the Pony. Unfortunately, nothing was and I swear it rusted even faster than the Pony.
It was an utter POS, and a large part why I still can't get over my distrust Hyundai / Kia to this date. (though I know they are much improved..)
They should have called it the Hyundai Cellar...

I have the same anti-Hyundai bias because of this. I sold it for pennies on the dollar, the guy blew the motor within a week of buying it from me.
The rear wheel drive in that car made for some winter fun, though.

One of the safe ways you can have fun with a good handling car on city streets is to punch it once you're at the apex of a on-ramp as the curve opens up.
There is nothing more disheartening than giving it full throttle and having your tires light up and having your front end start to plow.
With rear or AWD, you need insane power for this to be a problem, and if you do break loose, you're having tail happy fun (or terror) not a pedestrian plow towards the shoulder until you let off.
My list:
2002 Oldsmobile Alero (the only thing I could afford to insure. Wanting really bad to be a ricer, I still made it an awful, awful teenage joke of a car)
2005 Cobalt SS (this car handled incredibly, but had enough torque to create the above problem, being FWD)
2004 Audi S4 (redid the entire suspension to get rid of the oversteer. I miss it every day. Sold it before an $8000 timing issue reared it's head)
2003 BMW 325xit (wife's car she brought to the fold. I mention it, because I fix it. Constantly. Surprisingly awesome to drive. Huge piece of crap.)
2007 Volvo S40 T5 AWD (A big "meh" in all departments)
All cars above were manuals. I am sad that looking at anything newer, it seems that requirement might have to go away.
After driving the S4 for a while, I also vow to never drive a FWD car again. I looked forward to every on ramp and every snowfall in that car. I come close to buying another one often. We are looking for a newer manual, AWD wagon, but looks like if we want anything newer than 2011 we need to drop one of those requirements.

My years may be off but what I've actually purchased:
1996 Mazda Protege
2000 Mazda Protege
2004 Mazda 3
2006 Nissan X-trail....unable to bring into the states because Nissan US would not provide the necessary documentation because it wasn't a model available in the US so...
2006 Volvo XC90
2009 Honda Accord...this car was boring boring boring
2011 Volvo S-60 R-design...this car was fun but holy cow did it become expensive! I miss it. I really really do.
2014 Nissan Pathfinder
2014 Subaru Impreza

I pretty much want the same thing, but as far as I know the only car that ticks all those boxes is a Subaru. Unfortunately the Impreza is too small, and the Outback/Forester too SUVish. And they are all ugly.
The last gen CTS-V came in a manual wagon (rear-wheel drive though). The regular CTS wagon can be had in AWD...but not as a manual as far as I know.
If you want all 3 things you basically have to go 2010 and back. Once in a while you see a 5 series manual wagon for sale, but I believe the newest one you can get is 2010. Audi A3/A5's are around the same age.
So yeah, pretty dark times for manual/awd/wagon fans right now. Too many people want their wagons jacked up unfortunately.

Hey! I like the looks of my little Subaru!
Actually I don't mind the Crosstrek either. Little more wagon-y, little less SUV-y.
The Audi A3 is sweet though. Wish they still made it.
