Ranked 43rd among North American skaters.
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=635887
"The six-foot-two Jankowski, who has grown about six inches in the last two years, was ranked 43rd among North American skaters in the final Central Scouting rankings, normally not a position where first-round picks are found."
EDIT: NM. Beaten to it.

Maybe some insider information from his brother, Todd.

That there is no board.
Here's a few other rankings he's had that were "off the board" that I think were pretty solid:
2012 Teravainen 5th
2014 Sanheim 8th
2015 Boeser 9th

it's gotten to the point that even mentioning that this thread is beaten like a dead horse, is actually beating a dead horse in itself!

Kevin Rooney and Tom Parisi are the captains. Jankowski and Nick Saracino will wear the "A"s.

Scoring Winger

Going to be interesting to see how Jankowski does this year, with his play at development camp was hoping he would have been signed and started in the AHL this year, but I guess the positive is it gives the Flames an extra year of development.
Thought it was interesting checking out Providence's schedule and that they play an exhibition game Oct 3rd against Simon Fraser University.
It would be cool to see the Frozen four winner play against the CIS champs for a North American University championship. Not sure the schedules would work but it would help raise the awareness of players taking the collegiate route in both countries.

I think that the CIS champs would get stomped on. The real good Canadian players opt to play in major junior or get a scholarship to an American University as opposed to the Canadian University route. It would be unlikely to see an Eichel or a Gaudreau playing for the U of C. When have you heard of a good free agent signing out of a Canadian University?

Most CIS players are from the CHL and didn't get pro offers. They're still pretty good players and some of the teams are equal to the American college teams. I don't think Simon Fraser is even CIS quality though. They'll get stomped.

He's still a prospect and we talk about prospects all the time. Why so bent out of shape we talk about this prospect?

Dat organizational depth.
Crazy to think with the log jam of prospects we have knocking on the door, that we still have a young 21 year old monster sized C former first round pick just waiting around the corner.
I'm hoping that Jankowski can have a huge season and really make things tough for Treliving and Hartley down the road with some of the roster choices they are going to have to make.

Jankowski with a great start to his senior season 1g + 3a. Just started the 3rd period in the first game of the season.
First 4 point game in his NCAA career. Against a pretty good hockey program (Miami) too

The sooner that he gets here is the quicker the Flames can get rid of Jooris.
