Fonz, as it stands now...and assuming Bickell and Versteeg trades with some salary retained

Panarin/Toews/Hossa
TT/AA/Kane
Hartman/Shaw/Garbutt (this will be a fun/agitating line!)
Nordstrom/Kruger (re-signed)/Desjardins (will function like most team's "3rd" or shutdown line)

Morin to Q's Doghouse in the Press box

Danault, Tropp and Tikhonov to start at the Rock, with Danault getting the first call-up

DK/Seabs
Daley/Hjammer
Rundblad/TVR

CC
Darling

Leighton starts at the Rock

Sharp, unlike other "pure" snipers, is NOT irresponsible on the back check...and CAN function in a "two-way" role

You're selling Marko Dano well short here. Kid was a more impressive rookie than Teravainen, I'm predicting 45+ points out of him.

Granteed...Dano won't even be 21 until late November, and has a 2-way contract, there is no need to rush him up...and he has to show that he is defensively responsible, or Q will BURY him...see Hayes J, Morin, Pirri, et. al.

Haha, if Sharp's last name was spelled, "Giordano", everyone would be calling for the Stars to sign him to a $9mil AAV for the next 10 years! Frickin hell - Dallas Stars just got even tougher to beat this coming season..

This is an obvious lie. You're not fooling anybody.

Interesting strategy so far by Dallas, double down on offense and goaltending with Niemi and Sharp. Nill said even before last season that they were counting on young players in the system to step up and play big roles on the blueline, with Daley being moved out that will be even more imperative unless there's another move coming somewhere. Maybe Franson ends up there now or another trade coming with a forward going out?
Also, don't understand the hate for Daley in this thread, he is an unbelievable skater, had a huge offensive year, and is pretty cap friendly for a top 4 defenseman at 3.3 million for the next two years. If he ends up staying with Chicago he could fit pretty well, or they could get something decent if they decide to flip him.

I think the reason he's the only one wearing the jersey is because he doesn't have that tattoos to fit in with the other guys.

Ha ha. First thing I noticed as well. Looks like a picture you would see on an internet funny site along with families with mullets, 80's group pics of teased hair, etc.

Sharp does not belong in a group shot with those less than dapper gentlemen.

The Flames are sure lucky they're playing in the Pacific division. The Central is deadly. No easy wins in that division. The Pacific have two really weak team in the Coyotes and Oilers. The Canucks are expected to drop fast. Kings are solid but they have their cap and off-ice issues. Sharks are solid but they no longer a division favorite. The Ducks are the only truly great team in the Pacific.

Stars fans don't appear to like Daly much, but every time I've seen him he's looked like a pretty solid two-way defenceman. He certainly isn't a shutdown guy, but he makes good outlet passes and has great offensive instincts.

Klingberg, Goligoski, Oduya, and Demers as your top 4 isn't horrible. Sign someone like Franson and that offense should score more than the other team most nights.

Disagree. That's bad. They don't have a single top pairing d-man.
