Trade Wideman to New Jersey for Camellari.
Pick up Tanguay from Colorado for 1st round pick.
Trade for Phenuef from TO for Hamilton and Ferland.
Finish 15 in the West and declare a re-build.

1. Flames trade Mark Giordano (with Salary retained) to the New York Islanders in December in a deal that involves Michael Dal Colle. Islanders win the Cup.
2. Brodie and Hamilton lead the defensive core and both post 50 point seasons.
3. Flames get eliminated from the playoffs in round 1 by the Kings after very clearly losing the goaltender battle.

2. Gaudreau goes wild and nets a 100 points season.
3. Monahan gets shuffled down to 2nd C and Bennett takes over the #1 line.
4. Gio has a very meh season but thankfully the rest are there to pick up the slack, subsequently gets traded at the deadline.
5. Hiller owns the #1 spot and has a a great season. Ortio outshines Ramo in camp making Ramo the odd man out much to a lot of peoples chagrins.
6. Bill Arnold steals Stajans roster spot from camp, resulting in a trade of Stajan in a package that nets Anthony Mantha from DET.

Connor McDavid gets 125 points but the Oilers still miss the playoffs by 15 points.
