Oilers have Sekera as their main guy they are targeting according to multiple sources.

Would love that!

Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun
Hearing that the Oilers have kicked the tires on UFA goalies Ramo and Neuvirth... but I think Ramo more likely to re-sign with Flames

Interesting - I was almost sure Ramo wouldn't re-sign but there isn't a lot of opportunity to start elsewhere.

I would think the kings are after him pretty hard too after the Richards stuff.

Oilers have 18 mil in cap space - 4 for Schultz - 3 for McDavid - 3 for draisitle is that what the bonuses work out to rougly?

So 8 mil left to go 6x6 on Sekhara?

This is going to be one of the most cringe worthy siginings today.
I'm really hoping the Maple Leafs to sign Beleskey to a 7 year deal after just getting Clarkson out of town.

Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun
The Sharks No. 1 target is Paul Martin but there's lots and lots of interest in him. He'd be a great fit in San Jose. But other offers, too

Beleskey on a long term deal is a perfect fit for all the teams I hate.

I expect the #Leafs to be in on Frolik and Beleskey. #signingseason

McKenzie says Oilers are front runners for Sekera. Kings and Sharks have been told they are out on Sekera

Anyone have a link to the nhl.com live stream? The front page suggests that there is one but I can't seem to find a link.

I wish Mackenzie/LeBrun/Friedman/A A Ron were on one panel. Jeez Duthie looks pale, go easy on the makeup.

I really hope the Oil pay Sekera too much for way too long.

Oilers will use Sekera as a top pairing guy and he will get absolutely eaten up. I love it. They would be better off going for Franson.

Sekera > Franson
And it's not that close IMO

Franson has more warts in his game

Agree that Franson is worth 6 mil to the oilers long before Sekera is. Neith is worth over 5.5.

Ryan Rishaug @TSNRyanRishaug
If Oilers get another goaltender look for buyout or deal on Scrivens

I have concerns that Edmonton (or someone else, but especially Edmonton) will offer sheet Bouma.

I think Ferland is at risk as well.
