Not an Allen fan, I've only seen about 20 games though.
He seems to suffer from Hilleritis. Looks incredible for stretches then lets in a couple stinkers.
That goal along the ice this playoffs vs. the Wild was UGLY. My 6yr old niece makes that save.

Strong market for Joel Ward. At least 6 teams in the east, including the Capitals are interested, along with 2 teams in the west. #TSN
would be shocked if Calgary wasn't one of the two west teams.

I wonder if Brad Boyes might not get some attention from Treliving as well. Decent size, 15 goal guy, good with younger guys apparently and most importantly a RW.
2 years at 2 a year or something along those lines?

Yeah I just don't get the insanity behind Beleskey -- it's pretty obvious he put up an abnormal number of goals tapping in passes from Getzlaf and Perry. And 22 goals/32 points isn't really that spectacular in any situation. That's less points than Lance Bouma, a very similar style player, and I don't think anyone would even consider giving him a long term, $5-6 million contract.
