I think it is becoming more common for players to take this route. Some guys might not be good enough coming out of high school to play college ball so they'll play junior. For some of these guys it just takes a few years longer to develop and they either go play CIS at that point or some make the jump to the CFL

In the case of Spencer Wilson, he failed to keep the grades down south that would allow him to remain on the team. Academics wasn't a big priority for him so he did the next best thing to continue his football career and went to the Colts. I'd imagine the story is similar for many of the guys who follow his path and don't spend much time in CIS/NCAA.

Rider's post their depth chart vs Stamps.
Count the starters on offence.
Guess they didn't learn anything from the 13th man.

Not sure why BC let him go...hope its not injury related? maybe Wally is finally losing it?
Apparently BC's new coach wants more guys that can double as a receiver, so he was an odd man out.

It must be pre-season, the refs flagged Weston Dressler for going offside. That never happens in games that matter (lol).

That's odd, mine seems to be fine (and my laptop is pretty crappy).

Cunningham is Mo Price fast! Heck of a kick-off return (72 yards) and the Stamps punch it in to cut the Riders lead to 13-10.

At least the game is being streamed, but this is why I am really beginning to hate TSN. Don't need to show golf on all your channels. As the exclusive CFL provider this game should be on TSN1 (and all the other games too)

US Open golf and a stupid soccer game from another country. Do they have to show US Open on TSN, TSN3 to 5? Do I need to care about soccer game from two countries not from Canada and game was not even in Canada or in US? I can understand it if they are showing the Canadian's Women Soccer. Oh well....
I guess I will have to wait for the news.

I did not see the game but I heard Drew Tate, Greg Wilson, Keith Toston , Lemar Durant played well offensively, Sederrick Cunningham had a nice return for 72 yards on a kickoff. Joe Burnett on defense played well. Stamps are going to make some cuts by 8pm Saturday night, Huff will have a handful in deciding who will cut. I am betting R Greg Wilson will survive as he is having a good camp. I actually like him too. Tough position to cut some players are from (in order) #1 DBs, #2 DLines, #3 Receivers, #4 OLines. Huff will have to make his magic hiding some players on injury list and practice rosters.

Stampeders made some tough roster moves today and some are somewhat surprising. I am sure some of these players are going to be in practice rosters.

The following players have been released:
International defensive back Royce Adams
international defensive lineman Demonte' Bolden
International receiver Dan Buckner
International quarterback Dominique Davis
International receiver Cory Mitchell
International defensive back Lin-J Shell
International receiver Nathan Slaughter
International running back Keith Toston
International defensive lineman Eric Taylor

The following players are returning to their university teams:
National quarterback Andrew Buckley
National offensive lineman Aaron Picton
