There's exactly 3 people in this game that want to be investigated. Turned don't want to be, for obvious reasons, and passengers shouldn't because it means the the Government Agent potentially loses the chance of killing a turned.
Imagine the host or turned talking "Hey the town thinks the Government Agent should investigate XXX, who should we send the spore too next?" Well obviously it's not going to be XXX.
And without the Government Agent revealing himself/herself we wouldn't even know who got checked unless they turn up dead, so a discussion doesn't really matter.
And it's funny that your brought up focusing on the spore would be a good scum play, and now you are trying to focus on the spore today...

There is a one day delay, the discussion occurs after the spore has been passed.

Is what just happened the previous day just happened again? We have pretty much a tie. I could vote to make it one more for hammer, but we're already at enough for lynch.
Is it farfetched that the 3 hosts could be driving for 3 different townies? And we're so split up that we don't see it? I have to take the kidlet to school, but I just wanted to look at the last minute voting from previous days.
It was mentioned in a different thread that we're getting vicious with our attacks on each other. (myself at the top of the list... I should have posted a smiley, I guess it sounded funny in my head) We need to play logically.
I don't think squiggs is trying to dictate. He's trying to get some more ideas/plans for the GA. Like me, just because you're town, doesn't mean you're guaranteed to make the right choice. But others can help me out by offering things that I might have missed.

Pux I think it's 6-3 for MrK. So not currently that close to a tie imo. But if you move your vote and Seb weighs in then it could be close to a tie for sure. I'm still feeling like the Lego sub-in was suspicious so I'm comfortable with my vote on Starseed. But others are making a good case for lynching MrKajz so I would be comfortable moving my vote if need be to avoid a tie.
I agree with your concern though that with the votes this split the scum could have us all running in different directions. :/

I'm saying what I would do if I was the Agent. I would hope this night his/her night action is not wasted, so we can see if somebody was turned on Night 3.
I still don't know what your previous statement is getting at. My brought up what?

I don't think so. If you look at the day 1 girly vote there were 5 people on it. 2 are dead, the other 3 are leading candidates. So it's highly likely that 1 of the 3 is scum.
If scum threw down some advanced play all railroading Activestick well played scum but overall I think it's likely there is scum there.

Your willing to vote out MrKajz or Starseed, no mention of Party.
One of the three is likely scum and you are protecting one of them.

Night 0 - Spore passed to me
Night 1 - Spore passed to GirlySports
Night 2 - No spore
Night 3 - Spore passed to 'Someone'
Either Someone, unbeknownst to them, has the spore if they are passenger, or has turned and know they have the spore.
Squiggs96 started the day off - and now trying to end it - by pushing for me to be investigated by the Government Agent tonight because I was a "confirmed" townie. Yet he had been skeptical of me the day before so it was weird he considered me the confirmed townie and not, say, SebC.
He's not wrong that getting rid of a confirmed townie with the spore might make sense for the Host, but anything too obvious by the Host also helps the Government Agent in his/her investigation.
I don't know where the spore is, but I do know I haven't turned and there is the potential for a turned to exist right now - ideally the Government Agent investigates that person if they exist. So with him trying to pressure the Government Agent into checking me, leads me to worry about his motives for doing so. Hopefully, someone reveals they have the spore tomorrow and we can reassess.

Okay "the town" as you call it was 1 player Devo22 who moved off you to ECF.
So if what you are saying is true and you believe PE is scum why did you not vote for him?
And again are you then saying Devo22 is confirmed town?
Your defence reads like there was a mass movement off HG (not true it was 1 player)
And then you use the word town to imply a group that was confused moved off you to ECF (not true it was 1 player)
|
Okay, now I feel you are getting a bit nick-picky and using that against me. Yes, I did stay "moved off" HG in my prior post, but that was wrong wording. I am continually referring to this post here about my day 3 vote analysis:

Squiggs and Timbo both jumped on me pretty quick, which I took to mean they were working together. At that time, it was HG who was the leading vote person, not ECF. Lego then came on to put me in the lead shortly after the Squiggs and Timbo vote.
So when I look back at it, that was the scummy time of day. Once the votes were moved to me, the fear of HG getting lynched sort of went away. At that point, the scum left the fore-front and we just got all paranoid about the shift in votes (myself included). Party ended up going to ECF, followed closely by Devo and Peanut. It's hard to say why, but it looks like the Seb vote for ECF may have been a driving factor as (at that point) Seb was as close to confirmed town as you could get with the Maz post.
In summary, I think there was a scummy move in votes on Friday, but it wasn't the move from me to ECF. There would be no reason for the scum to come out and move the votes from one town to the other, that late in the day. The real move was made to push the vote off HG, and those that participated were Squiggs, Timbo and Lego. It ended up with HG, Squiggs, Timbo, Lego and ECF on me at the end of the day, and I feel like at least two scum are in that vote. I'm still questioning HG (though he seems to be less steering so far today), but Squiggs weird behaviour so far puts him in my top two with HG.
|
The scummy moves I see was when HG was in the lead. Squiggs, Timbo and Lego/Startseed all voted for me when HG was in the lead, they didn't necessarily move off HG to me. Party's move off me to ECF I see as a confused townie. I also see devo as confused town for agreeing with Seb's analysis of ECF. Seb was never on anyone in the first place.
So I was wrong to use the words "moved off" in my prior post, but I haven't deviated from my original stance at the start of the day.

You also mentioned this in your first post today. So my question would be, if you truly thought that the move from hockeyguy15 to you was scum driven, why didn't you vote hockeyguy15 to start the day? Did I just miss it?
I had the same question for Squiggs96, who also thought that the vote was scum driven but ended up voting Peanut. But if it was scum driven (whether it was to save you or hockeyguy15), why not vote for the person you thought the scum was trying to save?

I don't like to vote early in the day in general. I think it makes it easier for scum to see patterns forming and then they can join in without as much trouble. Therefore, I like to hold off until later in the day.
HG is still my top candidate, but I don't think there is much support there. I'd be willing to move over for sure, but I didn't want my vote to be a throw away.

Remember that I've never called you a confirmed townie. This is the second time you've attempted to put that on me. It didn't work last time, and it won't work this time. We've had this discussion before, so there's no need to rehash it. You take words out of context, make stuff up and then others have to defend against false accusations. You've also used this approach of twisting words in Smash Bros. We all know why you did it there. Let me be perfectly clear to you: I have never said you were a confirmed townie. I have doubts that you are town. I think it's possible you may be a host. Others have said you are probably town, but they don't speak for me.
Let's try another wild theory that builds off of my original conspiracy theory. We'll start with Oling being a host again. He may not be the captain, but he will still know who received the first spore, and will know if they were turned. Let's suppose someone was turned. The person who is turned has their win condition changed, so they won't speak out. Oling steps up to say he received the spore and sent it to Girly, but the spore has gone somewhere else. Oling leads the charge to vote Girly, we (myself included) join in on the lynch and Girly is gone. There is no conclusive proof that Girly ever received the spore, since she had been lynched. The spore could have actually gone to another host (one of the 2 that isn't Oling), back to Oling, or to someone else that ended up being turned. In all of these situations we'd never know where it is. The only way this plan wouldn't work is if someone received it and didn't turn. Since the hosts know all turned people at all times, they'd be able to plan their attack accordingly.
During Day 4 I have said that I'd investigate Oling if I were the GA. He has resisted this. He keeps saying I've said he's confirmed town, which is false. The only people who are confirmed town in my mind are the dead townies and myself. I have suspicions on who I feel like is town, but I won't know until a card flip by them or me being lynched. Using the word confirmed can be too risky.
I feel the resistance to wanting to be investigated might be fake in order to be investigated. If he creates enough doubt in people's minds that he might be turned, the GA investigates him and it won't find anything if he's a host. If someone acts guilty enough, then people can assume he's guilty. It will have wasted a night of investigation while there could be a couple of turned passengers out there if the GA investigates Oling if Oling is a host.
