Really?
The guy is a consensus 2nd pairing workhorse and now he has been given top pairing minutes against either Perry/Getzlaf of Kesler/Belesky when he really shouldnt be.

The Ducks are a hell of a lot better team than the Canucks too.

True, but it's a catch 22 as you can't turn the puck over to an elite team like the Ducks cause they'll burry it, but an elite team like the Ducks will make you turn it over to them because they're elite.

Honestly, the negativity here.... I just shake my head.
This is not the worst playoff performance ever, we aren't horrible, we don't deserve to be swept, monahan is not horrible, and neither is brodie. Everyone calm the #### down.
I can't believe some of the negative drivel here today.
We're playing a team that is on fire right now, and it's pretty back and forth. We're only down by one. So chill OUT!

He went from being a great first pass player in round 1 to a giveaway machine the last two games. Most of his problems is when he has the puck, not defending.

Too bad Monahan couldn't crosscheck Kesler back, but then he'd dive and draw a penalty.
