Nope, there were clearly 3 and Romanuk/Johnson talked about all 3 after several times at least. Distinct sound of the post 3 times on the Sportsnet broadcast.
Though like I said, I think they were all off the outside of the posts.

Blah blah blah. That period never happened, still lots of game left and Anaheim hasn't done anything to make me think this game is out of reach.
Get back to playing our style of hockey and don't worry about the score. The Ducks D is soft, we need to get pucks deep and hammer away. In our end we need to put ourselves between the puck and the man, stop giving them passing lanes.

Why are we counting posts? Who cares? The Flames had a decent start, but failed to get the puck out multiple times which lead to at least one Ducks goal.
They need to be better. Thankfully we tend to get better as the game goes on... Here's hoping the trend continues.

There was the one off the right wing where it hit Hiller then the post. That was close to beating him.

Anyways, here's to a better period. 2-0..........not a big deal

Yeah, just like when a player is in the corner and rings iron, the play by play always acts like it was THIS close to being a goal.

Ducks blocking lots of shots, Flames too tentative with their passes and need to crash the net.

He's so bad it makes people that don't cry about that sort of thing, cry about that sort of thing. Don't feel bad.

Could have been worse. Chip away at it and we'll be fine. Been here before.

A few thoughts:
- Really missing Giordano right in that period.
- The power play was atrocious. Shades of January with the only play being Wideman and Brodie taking slapshots from outside.
- Hiller's play wasn't necessarily poor, but I think Ramo's style is better suited to handle the Ducks.
- I'm not sure about Backlund in an offensive role, I think his biggest strength is being wasted. I think we need to put his line up against Getzlaf's line.
- I doubt we win today, but I'm not gonna panic. It's a 7 game series. You only need to win one out of four on the road if you win 3/3 at home.
- Man, I like Hampus Lindholm.
- Bennett's taking way too many undisciplined penalties. He's gonna get himself benched hard if he keeps this up.

Geez. You know it's been a rough period when all anyone can talk about is how many posts the opposition hit and how bad the PBP guys are.

Just concerning that Hiller missed those so close to going on considering 2 of them were unobstructed from quite a distance

Yea, could have been worse. It's a long series, Ducks playing a big physical game so far, Flames need to turn on the stretch pass.

Well either the American broadcast is just that bad or they were over-emphasizing the puck hitting the post in the Canadian broadcast. I kinda feel sorry for you guys, been a pretty solid broadcast so far.

well, the ducks weren't going to be a good match up for us...
seeing Van cycle as a result of our depleted D, just raised the red flag about what the Ducks could potentially do down low...
