"Let me get this straight, you think that your opponent, the Calgary Flames, one of the most resilient, relentless hockey teams in the league who have scored more goals in the third period than any other, and your plan....is to go into that third period only up by one goal?
.....Good Luck."

Hudler and Monahan were at national on 10. Came out of the washroom and right beside me is hudler, turned to him and high fived him while drunkenly yelling you the ####ing man. We're bros now

Your son running in circles; the next generation of fans.
Your voice is dead on the same as Johnny Galecki aka Leonard Hofstadter of the Big Bang Theory. It took me a couple minutes to figure out where I knew the voice from, but it's uncanny!

I've had the biggest smirk on my face all day today.
I don't think it'll end until game 1 of round 2 starts.

So pumped. So so pumped.

Just finished reading all 37 pages. So happy.
So. Effin'. Happy. Still.
So glad I don't have to get on a plane tomorrow like I did in '04.

Karma
Might have been mentioned but totally sweet that Stajan scores after the asinine comments about Stajan child. Gotta think there might have been a little help on that one.

But now.....like I said.......ALL gravy.
Especially considering the youth on this team:
Monahan - 2nd year NHLer, 20 years old
Gaudreau - 1st year NHLer, 21 years old
Bennett - 1st year NHLer, 18 years old
Ferland - 1st year NHLer, 23 years old
Colborne - 2nd year NHLer, 25 years old
Jooris - 1st year NHLer, 24 years old
Granlund - 1st year NHLer, 22 years old
Wotherspoon - 1st year NHLer, 22 years old
The last two have had very limited roles, but huge experience for them none the less, and those seven players make up almost 1/3 of our active roster. Plus all the black aces who are hanging around soaking all this up.
Plus we sold at the deadline and have 6 picks in the first three rounds of the draft this year....
This is unreal. Just loving all of it.

Gah, my bad. Was thinking about Colborne when describing Ferland and then forgot Colborne altogether.

You definitely want to fly to John Wayne, not LAX for this one.

So I ordered Domino's tonight. The delivery guy comes and doesn't notice my Flames shirt until I'm paying with debit. He then says semi-jokingly "Hey, man you better take that shirt off or someone is going to jump you" and then throws an f-bomb under his breath.
I don't think I should order Domino's for a while or I might get a little surprise. lol
