Has any love been shown to Bollig yet? He's been integral in these playoffs so far. More like a brick in the foundation than anything else but stellar in his role.

Whoever works for the Flames and played the theme song from The OC after the game is my new hero!

Got a massive hangover......

I LOVE IT!!

What a game last night. The Dome was rocking as usual! I was never worried for some reason. Even though we were down, we had lots of chances and we weren't going to be denied! What a party on the Red Mile last night. Won some bets with Canucks fans too.

Nice to see Hudler show up when we really needed him. I can't wait to see how we match up against a bigger and tougher Ducks team.

I am going to be very busy again for the next little while with my new ticket app, TikTiks (shameless plug).

YEEEEAHHH BABY!

Haha so I didn't get to catch the first two periods last night because I was at work. Shift ended at 8:45 so dad drives me home and I get to watch the third.

However it's probably around 8pm when a Canucks fan rolls into my till and I go hey, ya know the score of the game? She gloats that it's 3-1 (it was only friendly chirping though). For which team I ask. The Canucks. She said the Nucks scored three quick ones and the Flames scored at the end and that we looked baaaaaaaaddddd.

Oh man I would've paid good money to see her face after the game.

I was at Game 6 against the Wings in '04. I was at the 3-0 comeback with Cujo against SJ. But that was the best game I've ever been too. That was insane.

We huddled up with randoms behind us and cheered more than once last night. Just insane.

This is so exciting, can't believe I'm going to be watching Flames hockey in May this season. It's all gravy now for sure. Just making the playoffs should have been, but we drew a team that we weren't massively overmatched against, plus it was the dirty Nucks.....and it always hurts to lose to them, so I wanted that 1st round win badly. But now.....like I said.......ALL gravy.

Especially considering the youth on this team:

Monahan - 2nd year NHLer, 20 years old
Gaudreau - 1st year NHLer, 21 years old
Bennett - 1st year NHLer, 18 years old
Ferland - 2nd year NHLer, 25 years old
Jooris - 1st year NHLer, 24 years old
Granlund - 1st year NHLer, 22 years old
Wotherspoon - 1st year NHLer, 22 years old

The last two have had very limited roles, but huge experience for them none the less, and those seven players make up almost 1/3 of our active roster. Plus all the black aces who are hanging around soaking all this up.

Plus we sold at the deadline and have 6 picks in the first three rounds of the draft this year....

This is unreal. Just loving all of it.

OMG! In all the domes excitement yesterday, we forgot to sing the "goodbye" song. Guess we'll have to do it next round!

Best game I ever had the pleasure of going to in person. Worth every penny, still mega hungover today but that is also well worth it.

Bring on the Ducks. This Flames team has that magic right now and could go all the way!! No one gave us a chance against the Wings in 2004

Ferland isn't 25 is he? Seems like it was only a couple of years ago he played his 20 year old junior year after starting the year in Abbotsford.

He's 23. And he is a first year NHLer

Turned 23 last week. Although cuddles and kisses from Stajan might have aged him a little.

What an amazing experience. I was in restaurant seats and when Stajan scored a huge cloud of drywall dust from the Saddleroom restaurant renovations from 2 years ago poured over us. The building was shaking that much.

I also jammed my fingers into that stupid red awning 3-4 times jumping up.

Flames did well against the Nucks. If they can handle Kesler in the Ducks, they have a very good chance of taking home the hardware.
